Look, no one hates Uk, it's just that your songs are not according to Europeans' likings. I really like the song this साल and the singer has a great voice and she's really beautiful. But last साल the song wasn't good. It was a disco song!!! I also think UK should promote those who represent it each साल a bit more. I think UK this साल will get a good place, possibly not #1, but certainly better than the पूर्व years...
I think its because there was bias voting, for example Finland and Sweden would always vote for one another, Ireland would vote for us (not that it did anything much) So all the countried in central युरोप would vote for their neighbours, just becasue of the bod between the, i.e. the friendship. And so voting was bias. but now they have a new system, half the वोट्स come from pro-judges, and the other half from the public. As आप can see it did benefit the UK, and we got rid of Terry Wogan (sorry anyone who likes him, he just bugs me). =)
Haha, its cause we had a compatition on TV for the अगला esc singer, had a famous song writer write it acompnied द्वारा an american lyricist. I hope they do something similar this year. Either way, I'm still having a Europarty.
I guess it's just politics. For example, in 2003 the UK got 0 points. That was the same साल of the invasion of Iraq, so that might have affected the results. Then again, the song wasn't the best itself...
युरोप don't hate the United Kingdom. Its like my country, it is underrated. But, on the contrary, your entries do not satisfy much (Exceptions: 2009, 2011). Like in 2003, आप came last with 0 points. It is the regional voting blocs that really get the original countries failing at their performance in the final. Mind you, Ireland & The UK do vote for each other, but the United Kingdom is just forgotten..along with France, Spain, Germany and other entries.
I don't think युरोप hate the United Kingdom. And besides, Without the United Kingdom, युरोप won't have an English country. And United Kingdom is my प्रिय European country.
There is a vast cultural difference between the UK and the rest of युरोप even though we have shared common experiences both good and bad. The UK song was good and deserved to be higher in the rankings on technical merit.The UK song लेखन and performance industry is thriving on a global stage and thats what matters. It is clear from the result that there was a political point to be made between the two countries that came 1st and 2nd.I Don't think the rest of युरोप cares too much either way about the UK, we give our importance in युरोप far too much credence, we are not as important as we think but we make a large contribution, and that is why we should leave the Union. We are the odd member of the family that nobody really likes. Even is John Lennon came back and wrote the best song in history we could never win Eurovision, so why take part!
