First of all are the villains. The हाल का villains have been weak, and do not seem real so when the hero triumphs आप do not feel the need to cheer along with them. If the villain is और menacing she/he is like another villain from an older डिज़्नी movie. Take the villain from Enchanted; she is on a quest to get the सिंहासन this is nothing new Ursula was trying to achieve the same goal. Her looks were like a और beautiful version of Snow Whites evil step mother, she uses magic and she turns into a dragon something that has already been used!
Next is the lack of songs. Yes they have songs but none the characters themselves sing, these songs are mostly for background noise या an odd out of place संगीत number. There’s no songs that help the story along, giving आप looks into the characters feelings that in words would be awkward, like the song God Help the Outcast’s what if that had been Esmeralda speaking instead of singing?
Another thing is the animation. (If the movie is animated) The new डिज़्नी एनीमेशन has a very computerized look. This look does not compare to the look of old Disney, a और homely and hand drawn look. The new look in a way does not take आप into the story the way the old एनीमेशन did, leaving आप watching but not as into the movie as आप could be.
Yet another thing to add to this सूची is the focus डिज़्नी has taken. The villains, as I mentioned above, have mellowed considerably, leaving something with the nametag of villain that आप can not be frightened by. डिज़्नी seems to have mellowed to, wanting और jokes in their story and no frightening villains that might scare away their audience, young children. What happened to the first villains? I think Snow White was the scariest डिज़्नी movie, why? Because of the villain that’s why! I do not remember having jokes in Aurora, what made it funny, if आप can call it that was the परियों bickering with each other and the joking song of Skumps! डिज़्नी was once looking out at a large audience, trying to make the फिल्में enjoyable for kids and adults now it seems that focus has narrowed.
Finally I come to the plot of the movies. The old and classic डिज़्नी फिल्में have plots taken from books, Beauty and the Beast, The Black Caldron, Aladdin, all taken from books. But lately डिज़्नी has been trying to find new ideas on their own and I do not think that they are doing a good job at it. This is just something I noticed and may not be totally true.
So I have come to my conclusion, most new डिज़्नी फिल्में have a hollow shell of a villain, background noise that may be interesting, a clean computerized and perfect look that leaves आप behind, and a storyline that is only mildly interesting.
