I प्यार our डिज़्नी heroines, so I thought it might be fun to write an लेख celebrating my favorites! डिज़्नी has दिया us some great females, and these are some of my favorites.

Favorite Animal Heroine: Perdita
I प्यार Perdita! She’s such a good mother to her puppies. I प्यार all the effort she puts into finding her puppies. She’s even willing to go to Cruella De Vil’s house in order to find them all. She will go to any lengths to protect them. And I प्यार how she takes in all of the पिल्लें in the end! She is such a kind and giving dog and I just प्यार her- and this is coming from a cat person!


Favorite Heroine Friend: Nakoma
I’ve already written an entire लेख on why I प्यार her, so I’ll try and just summarize. Nakoma is an awesome friend to Pocahontas. She puts Pocahontas before herself and their friendship, and that takes a ton of courage. आप have to really care about a friend to possibly jeopardize your friendship in order to protect your friend. I also प्यार the way she tries to correct her mistakes. I प्यार the way she cares for her people. I प्यार the way she tries to act all mature and then lets loose and has fun. In a lot of ways I deeply relate to Nakoma, and I really admire her.


Favorite Young Heroine: Alice
I really प्यार Alice. She’s another one I relate to in a very profound way. A lot of times, I feel like Alice. I feel like I live in my own कल्पना world that I’ve made up in my head that no one else is a part of. I’ve sort of created my own Wonderland. I relate to her wanting to be in her own world of her creation and finding the real world unsatisfying. I also प्यार her curiosity. It might get her into trouble, but she is just so interested in everything. Alice is just such a fun character.


Favorite Non-DP Princess: Kida
Right, so I needed a category for her in order to fit all the heroines I wanted to. I absolutely प्यार Kida. She’s just so selfless and cares so much for her people. She was willing to be turned into a freaking crystal! I प्यार the way she gives everything for the Atlanteans and does everything to try and revive their culture. I also प्यार the way she falls for Milo. I just प्यार the nerdy guy/ hot femme archetype! Kida is so strong and selfless, and I प्यार that.


Favorite Non-Princes Heroine: Jane
Jane is such a fun character! She’s kind of a damsel, but that makes sense because she’s this proper English girl in the middle of a wild jungle. Jane is just so kind with the way she deals with Tarzan. I प्यार the way they first meet and she looks into his eyes. Also, she is so caring and gentle with him when she teaches him English. She is a very patient person! I also प्यार watching her describe meeting Tarzan! She’s just so hilarious and cute! Jane is really expressive. Jane is really creative and a very sweet and caring person.


Favorite डिज़्नी Princess: Mulan
Anyone who knows me from the डिज़्नी princess spot will not be surprised द्वारा this. मूलन is my प्रिय डिज़्नी character. She is just such an amazing person! When I first watched Mulan, I was watching Honor to Us All and something about the clumsy, awkward girl on screen just entranced me. I प्यार her both before and after she joins the army. Before she joins, I प्यार her obedience and devotion to her family. After she joins the army, I प्यार her courage and selflessness. I प्यार how मूलन gives everything for her family and her people. I also प्यार her struggle with who she is. Unlike most डिज़्नी heroines, who know exactly who they are their entire films, मूलन truly doesn’t know who she is. I प्यार the way she struggles to find it throughout the movie. I also प्यार how she isn’t a tomboy या a girly girl. She is just Mulan. I think she is a very wonderful character and an incredible person.



Pixar Mention: Edna
An Anna Wintor-esque three-foot high fashion designer voiced द्वारा a man. Need I say more? I also प्यार Helen and Mirage.
