Well... both. I didnt cry, but I did feel bad when some of the characters died though... But I also laugh at the funny parts like Mater and his Pistachio Ice cream. XD

I didn't cry, but I felt bad for the characters. Like Lightning when he realized he was too hard on Mater, and when Mater got called an idiot.

I felt the most sorry for Mater when he was made fun of and when he thought McQueen HATED him cuz of the fight they had at the pit stop race in Japan. :'( But i also laughed when Mater screamed and said that he needed water cuz the ice cream was too hot (it was really wasabi) and I just had to crack up when he said, Whatever you do, do not eat the free pistachio ice cream. It has turned.

I know we're not supposed to feel empathy for the bad guys, but I felt quite bad for Zundapp when he fought to keep from crying at the Lemonheads meeting when the Mystery Engine recited all the names for Lemons. I also felt bad for Rod and Leland, and of course Mater when McQueen tore into him for making him lose the race.

Certain parts were painful, but even more painful was to see no trace of repentance in the enemy after all what they had done ..
