Whenever I read books, I feel as though I am the Character. Why do I always feel like i am Roza? Why am I actually in प्यार with Dimitri??

I felt the same way for a while. I feel like it at some point in all of my प्रिय book series. Especially VA. I started thinking that I 'loved' Adrian और than Dimitri but then I imagined both of them in front of me being forcefully turned into a Strigoi and which one I would save. I sat unmoving in one spot for 5 मिनटों thinking about which one I would choose, and finally, I chose Adrian because if I was dhampir he would be my duty. I only thought of him as 'my duty' the whole time while choosing while I thought of Dimitri as the one I love. Adrian was nothing compared to him.

well i fell for him as soon as he went our and saved गुलाब नितंब, गधा when they frst came back! hes was soooo sweet when mason died and idk i know i feel like rose when i read too.its hard not to आप relate to her sooo much when dimka"DIED" I BAWLD MY EYES OUT!!! i ran up the stairs and was like "mom hes dead he cant be dead NO!"i really scared her cause will i fell in प्यार with him and if he was real i would so acually fall for him all over again! I प्यार आप DIMKA!

Dudes, im soo in प्यार with dimitri. i cried my eyes out when he died and i almost put my book through the damn shredder when he turned strigoi ?!?!?! the mother fudging hot douche bag. <3 oh, and dont worry, i practically fantasise about being in rose's shoes when im bored in college ;D x

If आप like the book a lot आप automatically see yourself as the main character. It happens to different people for different reasons. It happens to me because I प्यार the way he is.

i feel the same way. it's just a need to escape your life and world. so आप slot into someone elses world, in this case rose's, and आप envy her dearly. dont worry, your not the only one that feels this way and it will enventually pass.

ok well i just finished the book 'vampire academy' and i feel sooooo in प्यार with dimitri, i feel like im rose to because u read the book in her character and shes describing her life, and because he is soo sweet and she describes him to be georgeous soo...ya. and i प्यार romance soo he is very romanticc!

Dimitri just has that kind of effect on ppl and most first person stories are always that way when आप feel like आप want to be Rose...Its probably gonna be like any normal girl that reads the Twilight series...but once they come out with a movie for the पुस्तकें everything will change...becuz barely anyone knows what a Dhampir is

I completely agree! When I read this series I wanted to be Rose, and wanted to be with Dimitri! लोल I CRIED so much when he dies and the last few lines of the book when she talks about hunting down the man she loves! If he doesn't come back in one of the अगला पुस्तकें I will feel like the series failed me in some way!! I प्यार this story and wish it could go on forever!

I just finished पढ़ना the 3rd book and i am so upset, i can't believe he became strigoi! and I am to scared to start the अगला book! I just want him and Rose to be together is that asking to much?

I alwayz feel that I am Rose and I actually have feelings for him . I will actually literally break down and cry . It's like funny and sad at the same time. Oh , And I totally agree ! =D

I think alot of people are like that with different series.. but its a good thing! पढ़ना VA I've fallen in प्यार with Dimka! From all the पुस्तकें I read I have so many loves now ;)

Mainly because the पुस्तकें are well written and the विवरण on the characters is exceptional. Dimitri is just a loveable character! I know exactly how आप feel! When I'm पढ़ना the books, I feel like I'm actually Rose! I can "feel" her pain, happiness etc. Richelle Mead is so talented and that's why we feel this way!

i feel the same way everytime i read a book that carries me away! and espesially with V.A ..i was feeling what rose felt about him.. and i cried a lot when dimka died.. and then about the strigoi thing..i had mixed feelings.. because i liked the fact that he was "alive".. i thought i was going crazy.. :p ..gee ..it was creepy.. :p but ok it's natural ..gotta प्यार dimitri and vampire academy <3<3

i always feel the same way after पढ़ना the books. i just finished spirit bound and i felt like a recovering drug addict.... i liturally fall in प्यार with Dimka and it actually feels like im getting my दिल broken when i admit that he isnt real... i think the reason is that if आप प्यार a book so much, and if आप प्यार a character (and the persons POV your in loves that person) आप cant help but feel attached. In my eyes Dimitri is perfect and i wish he was real... i think the best way to get over this, isnt to forget about the books. but take what आप like about the पुस्तकें and the characters in the पुस्तकें and put it into आप own life. the only problem with this is आप cant just make your own Dimitri appear :(

I feel that way too, but mostly it's bc I am a LOT like Roza. even the looks r similar. Like I have dark brown hair, I'm not stick thin but I'm not fat. And I प्यार fighting and training. So, I think it's normal! :))

i totaly see myself as rose and when i read that my dimka, my baby! died i was in the middle of school u have no idea how F*ing close i was to jumping up and screaming "fuck this bullshit" haha i did do that at lunch tho and i had to spend the rest of the दिन in ISS haha i finished blood promise in there :P i just finished spirit bound and HOLY F*ING SHIT!!!! wow i cant wait till last sacrifice

That happens to me too!After Dimitri told Rose in Spirit Bound "Love fades.Mine has."I started crying and I threw the book.I'm Insanely in प्यार with Dimka and I hope if Mead is just ending their प्यार like that then she is a fucking bitch!Besides Rose wouldn't kill the queen!If she would it would take alot to get Rose to do that.Honestly I think Dimitri did it even though he was locked up and heavely guarded.No offense I प्यार Dimitri too,but He was in the back of the court looking at Rose with a blank face.I hope Lissa healed all the Strigoi out of him!He could stand the sun so she should have and Hans cut him with a Silver stake sure it hurt but he wasn't screaming in pain he just bit his lip.

U could not believe how how in प्यार I am with dimitri my फ्रेंड्स think I'm insane. But omg through the whole end of shadowkiss I balled. And then in sb I was having hiss fits. Ily demmmmmmi!!!!!<3

oh my god!!!!!!!! me tooo i cant believe it my best friend thinks im like obsessed but im not now!!!!!!!!!!! i luv him soooo very much!!!! he is soooo sweet and romantic i luv him sooooo much i freaking cried when rose staked him i also threw my book down crying!!!! and i hate nathan with all my heart!!!!!!! oh and tasha she freaking back off of dimitri लोल but anyway yes i feel the same way i feel like im roza i can feel dimitri holding me and wow! his चुंबन its soo real and its like i was crying when he कहा प्यार fades, mine has. i cryed well thats my view of it hope it helped! lol

Ya I totally know how आप feel there. Most पुस्तकें have the fantastic quality to pull आप into the book because of the way it's written, and sometimes the situations in पुस्तकें are so real (say: falling into forbidden love)that आप feel sympathy for the main character. I was so mad at Dimitri in the end of Spirit Bound and the beginning of Last Sacrifice for rejecting Rose. Then the falling in प्यार with Dimitri is because Richelle Mead made Dimitri an almost perfect guy--protective, hot, romantic...etc...-- that we think "oh hes practically perfect, where would we find a guy like that in real life?" and we just instantly प्यार them. Especially when they STOP rejecting the main character and find out that they are meant to be. : )
