I'm probably dreaming right now, so, I might change my pick. I just hope they get together ASAP and don't be like Tiva and drag it out forever, although, the buildup is alway gooddd. :)

I think it mostly depends on the show finding its groundings with its characters and where the over all plot arcs are going to come in. Every writer is too scared of the Moonlighting rule to try to break it in a show that is still getting its following.
However, with the way they've set everything up it's still possible it could happen in the next few seasons but I'm just not going to get my hopes up.

Unfortunately

I think we would have to see a very dramatic storyline to even see the start of anything. Here I'll set the scene for you. Deeks kidnapped, big explosion, believed to be dead, even to the team, for cover reasons. (music playing - Eversence's - Bring Me to Life) His re-appearance causes mixed emotions for Kensi (a punch in the arm followed by a 'telling' hug and a whisper in the ear 'never do that again or you will wish you were dead' It isn't noTHING after all:) But we still have to get to know our characters first. Just getting them to admit that their 'thing' is something would be a first, small step.
