What is Matt and Mello's relationship in the series?
In some promotional material, Matt is described as, of all the words they could have used, Mello's consort. ▪Consort: A husband or wife; spouse, especially of a reigning monarch. A companion, associate, or partner.
They were फ्रेंड्स who were both in Whammy's House as kids. Neither the ऐनीमे nor the मांगा goes into much detail about their relationship, but they're probably pretty good friends; they're shown working together several times.

Lol, thanks. I was kinda confused with all the याओइ stuff प्रशंसकों make up for them, so...
In one of the episodes it is shown mello crying over matt getting shotdown.So that enforces the याओइ idea.Not to mention there is a rumor before mello joined the mob matt and mello shared a room.
They were both at the Wammy House, While Near and Mello were the चोटी, शीर्ष 2, Matt was the 3rd smartest child. He decided to शामिल होइए Mello's crew.Sure Mello was upset over getting Matt involded(killed) but he wasnt crying over it. No याओइ was involved.
The ऐनीमे never even introduces Matt, But in the मांगा they are shown working together and also growing up at wammys. It does not दिखाना them as फ्रेंड्स just acomplices. The only that shows they ever liked eachother is when Mello apologizes for getting matt killed. But other then that we don't really know.
They might be what some call "Heterosexual life partners" but they just don't go very deep into the friendship. So the relationship is not erotic, just bromantic.

i think tthat they are just फ्रेंड्स but some one made up heaps of याओइ stuff about them after all it is psycologicaly proven that if आप say something ofdten enough and write/draw it enough people will beleive it whether itts true या not
In the canon series if Death Note. Mello and Matt were merely best friends. Mello crying over Matt does not imply that they are in a 'sexual' या 'boy to boy yaoi' relationship. I mean I would cry over it if my best friend died. My theory is that याओइ fangirls got the 'crying over Matts death' alittle confusd with yaoi.
