Ahh, Batman, the superhero with no powers, training or special abilities, and Superman, the one with way too many powers and special abilities. The couple that made DC a laughingstock among those that like believable characters. Maybe they should team up with Spider Man and put all the comic book suck in one TV show, to save the rest.

That being said, Spidy is one of my fav, but sir, you clearly are just a fan boy playing defense. Both universe are good in their own way. Would be nice if people realize that no one is better than the other. It’s all a matter of personal opinion and preference. So deal with it.

I’d much rather the characters get the exposure they deserve than not at all. And I can’t speak for Arrow, as I haven’t watched it, but if you aren’t enjoying The Flash, it’s your own fault.

Flash is rather a great show, which had earned the character a lot more fame and fans. I really love CW’s The Flash as well as The Arrow. Both shows are awesome, I’m watching them from season one, so before any commenting do check them out. Flash is getting awesome everyday.

I agree, and I didn’t even know there was a Hawkgirl!

If they cast three more characters (the ones previously unseen in live action TV shows), we’ll have, in essence, a mini-Justice League – but as long as they’re adding characters, I’m hoping that Animal Man will be one of them (and it would be nice to see a Doom Patrol character in the mix, too – say Robotman/Cliff Steele).

My biggest worry is that the show will suffer from having too many lead/featured characters and be a clunky mess – but so far, Berlanti has done a good job so, fingers crossed.

They can always do a Justice League only TV show, have stars come in to do missions each week like the Suicide Squad on Arrow.

Many congrats to Ciara! I teach at the high school she attended, and I’m familiar with her stage work there. Very proud of this alum of Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, PA! This is one fanboy that will certainly be watching!

Hmmm…the whole “Hawkgirl appeared in Smallville” claim is a debatable point; first off, it was technically Shayera Hall, one of the DC COMICS alter egos for ‘Hawkgirl’, so IF Berlanti & Co still referred to her as “new character”, I wouldn’t be surprised (she IS new to live-action, in full regalia, anyway …)

Details aside, sounds like good casting (remember, the actors cast as ‘Tommy Merin’ in ‘Arrow’ and ‘Cisco Ramone’ on ‘Flash’ both got their start on Broadway)

Yes to this! I can’t wait. Arrow is getting lame, thank goodness Caity Lotz’s Sara Lance is alive. And Ciara Renee is an awesome casting choice. Bring it on.

Except it sounds like Caity Lotz won’t be playing Sara Lance. She’ll be playing a yet to be announce character who is not Sara Lance. This bothers me because she’s in the same universe, interacting with some of the same characters.

Ugh. I hope they change the backstory. Reincarnation is so 1960-70’s. What’s with stage names, these days, too? If you can’t be creative enough to pick something better than “Ciara Renee”, you’re probably not creative enough to be a good actress.

Sooo… Those two unnamed characters, could they be Blue Beetle and Booster Gold? With Booster Gold and Rip Hunter as time travellers that team up with different heroes in differente time periods? Would explain a living Sarah Lance. Or at least one time jump story to bring Canary back from the dead?

true fans would know that batman trained his mind to be like a detective when he was young and did some training of fighting it wasnt intil he was at least 16 or so that he started training in martial arts not from when his parents died
