First things first not a SE fan, I'm 100% DE fan, who just giving up hope and seeing things more clearly than ever

We always have seen/known how much Damon is in love/loves Elena he said like at 4 times or so, but we never anything from Elena side that indicates that she's in love with I'm not saying she doesn't care about him she does a lot but she cares about her other friends just the same even more

But plz don't give the kiss 3x19 as an exapmle,if Matt or Tyler were in love with the same amount Damon was she would have kissed them too, it was nothing more than a pity kiss(this is coming from a fan who watched that kiss at least 100) each time believing that it's more than just a pity kiss,but mow I see it clearly that was never more than that

Firstly, if you were an 100% DE fan you would not have given up hope so soon, us DE fans have watched so many SE scenes yet we still have hope. The kiss in 3X19 was definitely not a pity kiss because if that was a pity kiss, then what is a real kiss. You should really try be more optimistic because Delena will come, you just have to be patient.

Plz don't use the word IF because I am it's just that I have had enough heart breaks from DE, and other tv couples from other shows like in PLL my spencer & Toby were always number one, and now they showed us that Toby is part of the A team my heart just complete BROKE, and I decided to stop watching PLL.

So for right now I CAN'T handle anymore heart breaks

Sorry I was so harsh with my first reply, its just that I really think that we should try be more optimistic. I guess the episode was not very good for DE, but keep reminding yourself that to get to DE there has to be more SE , it will be hard to get through but we must remain hopeful. I also saw the most recent PLL with Toby and was shocked, but maybe Toby was being blackmailed or something because he is way to nice to be A.

O don't if crazy JP said that or notbut i dout it, any way just te-watched epic kiss again, and I'd onto understand how can she kiss him like that (that kissed seemed like it can go on forever) then just easily breaks his heart 3,4 times after that, I don't understand how can she still break his heart if she's in love with him

I think that she knows deep down that she is in love with Damon , but she just does not want to admit it to herself, she is in denial. I think that she breaks his heart because she doesn't actually want to be inlove with him, but she still is anyway.

kind of... she still has a ways to go yet.... i think she wants to love him and be honest about it but shes scared of her own feelings and @bdavis98, its right.. never have we had a scene that shows she loves him! just cares about him, but i guess that's part of them showing the journey of DE and how she slowly falls in love with him, un-like Stefan where its like "love at sight" thing.

She doens't love him like a friend for sure. But she doesn't love him as a lover either. Or better she is afraid to love him as a boyfriend. But it will happen. In 2 months just ask again.

YEP!! totally!! she's just too darn stubborn to admit it! it's not because she doesn't love him, it's because she love's him TOO MUCH that she continues to deny it to herself .out of loyalty to her precious holyboy. the writer's are just giving SE fanservice, preparing them for the heartbreak that's ahead. and somehow, i can't see them surviving THIS TIME!!! no serrie!!! they are on the verge of CRUMBLING!!! and delena, is going to SORE HIGH!!!

I think she is at least falling in love with him. You don't kiss your friends like she did in 3x19 LOL, I've never seen friends do that. That was not a pity kiss. Elena kissed Damon full on, passionately, then they stopped and looked at each other and continued. She didn't feel bad about it, she enjoyed it and didn't stop it.

Look at her face when Damon gave his speech in 4x01. She knew he was right, she was going to cry. And this "I don't know" about her feelings for Damon that she says to Stefan and Damon is just denial. She doesn't know she's in love with him, she's in denial about it. For one she's scared of what being in love with Damon means, for another she feels loyal to Stefan, she thinks Stefan is the "right" choice. She tries to fight what she feels but she can't forever.

It's scary when you develop feelings for someone you think you shouldn't have. We haven't seen an out-right declaration of love from Elena exactly, and we haven't seen the totality of her feelings for Damon yet, but we will. That's what one of the main story arcs of the show is about. But if anyone doesn't believe she has any feelings for Damon and is never going to love him...well, nothing I say will make any difference, will it?

bdavis98 I totally understand you, I mean, I actually started loving this show when I fell for delena, but i dont even believe anymore in a delena happy ending. I don´t really get what Julie is trying to do. I mean, I really thought that when Elena had remember all those beautifull moments Damon made her forget she would at least hasitate in her all stefan-is-the-only-one thing but at the end of 4x01 when I was watching the final stelena scene I was like "WTF? This woman is never gonna pick Damon" I don´t know, I truthly wanna believe she´s inlove with Damon but she looked just so decided to live her wholel eternity with stefan one day at a time.

Obviously. I honestly wouldn't even be watching the show anymore if I didn't think that and didn't have hopes that they'll end up together in the end.
