Spencer was to visit his mother at the mental institution center in Las Vegas in afew days. He was excited but nervous. Why was he nervous? It had been ages since he'd seen her. Spencer loved his mother, but often felt she criticized his job and FBI colleagues at times. No matter what went down, he knew he needed to pay her a visit. He went to Hotch for advice.
"I need your help." Spencer stated. "You're asking ME for advice?" Hotch asked in a shocked tone. "Yes..." Spencer reluctantly answered. Hotch didn't know what to do. "What about JJ?" he asked. "She's a chaperone on her son's field trip today." Spencer answered. "What about Derek?" Hotch asked again. "HE was up all night throwing up." Spencer answered. Hotch knew he had nowhere else to turn. "Well, I guess that leaves ME." he stated. Spencer immediately got to it.
"I'm visiting my mom in afew days and I'm REALLY nervous." he said. "Just make the best of it." Hotch replied. Spencer looked at him with an angry look on his face. "Is THAT all you've got?" he asked. "I don't really know what else to tell ya, Spencer." Hotch replied reluctantly. Spencer wasn't that close to Hotch like he was with JJ and Derek. Hotch went up to Spencer. "I know it's been difficult to deal with your mother's condition, but आप did the right thing for her." Hotch comforted. Spencer looked at him. "It was hard. But I know she's getting the best treatment in the world right now." Spencer replied.
