BIGBANG has set another record in Japan, proofing their huge popularity in the country!

Japan’s media, Nikkei Entertainment magazine made a rank of top 50 acts, solos, and groups who brought the most audiences in the concert during 2014 for their December issue. The five-member boy group ranked second with a total of 927000 audiences attended their 29 concert performances in the country. Moreover, member Daesung (D-Lite) as a soloist also placed in rank 41 for his solo activities that made a total of 169000 audiences came to his 15 performances.

With the record, BIGBANG becomes the Korean artist with the largest concert attendance in Japan this year, as the first place went to Japan rock band Exile Tribe who brought 1053000 audiences during 31 performances.

Other Korean artists that are also in the list are EXO (ranked 20), Gurls’ Generation (ranked 21), Super Junior (ranked 27), SHINee (ranked 33), and 2PM (ranked 34).
