I like to shot guns and I own 10 of them. I don't think that they should be sold to people with a criminal record and I don't think that they should be sold to people with mental problems. There should be a test that has to be passed to help with checking your "smarts" and they should be a law that allows you to take it with you to more places, like a post office, some government buildings, and other public areas. And if guns kill then you should know this, out of gun related death their was on average 30% more people killed by a hammer. A HAMMER!

But in Germany there are MORE deaths than in the U.S.A. because they don't let you have guns!!! Even if we didn't sell them on the black market you can get anything! Bombs aren't legal yet people still get them and make them!

I live in Brazil and I'll tell you why it should be sold for trained people only :
I don't know if this kind of thing happen only in Brazil but bandits and drug dealers buy guns ILLEGALLY through the black market. Forbid the gun sale for everyone wouldn't make much difference.
But this is my opinion only...

They should be banned altogether, there would be no need to kill someone with a gun in self protection if the person causing harm didn't have a gun. No availability of guns would mean a load less shootings, maybe a rise in blunt weapon use but that doesn't lead to death most of the time. Simple fact less guns, less gun related deaths.

The thing is they will still be out there, you can't get rid of them fully. Besides we have the right to bear arms! The founding fathers gave us this.

Ignas, God has protected me from death many times! 2 years ago I was in a BAD car accident(it wasn't my fault) I was in the hospital for 2 months, the docs there sucked, I was supposed to die and only had a 3% chance of living. another time I was saved from a mudslide... and then there is the time I a gun pulled on me, I had my gun and was drawing to shot the other dude. His gun misfired giving me the opportunity to kill him. Just so you know this happened at a park with my old girlfriend, I didn't have an "material arts" to use!!!.
