He is the more complex character!

I did enjoy his performance as Turpin though, of course. He was superb with both roles. ..If I had to choose as a "person" it would be Snape, but Turpin, despite his disturbing tendencies, was a very interesting character.

Both are flawed characters but Severus has good in him, deep down. I'm not so sure about Turpin.

Besides, Severus is in my age group while Turpin is older. Though there is something pervert in Judge Turpin that can have a strong appeal...

But all in all, I prefer Severus because I'm more familiar with him as a character. Maybe after writing a few fanfics on Turpin, I'll change my mind. Who knows ?

Snape by far...I hate Turpin so much...

@waimea - no tomatoes. I think for me the 'character' of Snape was more attractive than the character of Turpin. Snape was just so much more well rounded as a character than Turpin.

But, as for someone that more visually looked like Alan, with just some regency era clothing, then, Turpin as a visual picture of Alan Rickman in RL, Turpin was sexier for me.

Snape of course but i got my little thing for Turpin to.

He is so commitment in every single movie that he make but definitely Snape is more complex character that Turpin
