It was Tess's parents 20th anniversary it was being held at the local bar. In fact Tess's brother, James's, best friends' grandmother owned the bar. She had let them have the bar the entire night just for their anniversary party, for free.
Tess and her mom had been planning the party for almost eleven months. There were over 150 people that had been invited almost all of them responded with a yes.
Tess had talk to one of her mothers फ्रेंड्स who makes the most beautiful delicious cakes and asked if she would do one for her parents anniversary. Tess asked her mother what kind of डिज़ाइन she would like so Tess had some kind of idea, though she made sure that it was a surprise and she was so excited for her parents to see it.
"Tess can आप help me with these drinks" David asked. He was the owners son-in-law. He was behind the counter fixing drinks, his wife Jamie had got caught up in a conversation with Tess's mother.
"Sure" Tess smiled knowing that tonight was her parents night, if her mother wanted to spend time with Jamie she was going to let her. Plus Jamie has three boys and a step daughter and watches her two sisters kids often and it can become very overwhelming having seven kids in the house she needs a bit of down time.
Tess knew that extremely well. She had once watched them all thinking it was going to be a piece of cake, she was और then wrong and would never in her life ever do it again unless there was some kind of emergency.
Tess walked past her mom and Jamie and sat down in a स्टूल, मल and took off her heels. She got up and threw them behind the bar.

She tossed the empty plastic tray on the counter. "Tess are आप okay sweetheart?" Her mother asked. She smiled a fake smile and shook her head. "Ya, just your husband he's got some weird friends." her mother smiled and gave a little laugh. She gave a little rub on her back and turned back to Jamie to continue the conversation.
The night went on and Tess kept and eye out for Sam but she never saw him. She expected to see him because she had also spotted his mother.
When she was younger Sam and Tess would play together in the summer and they'd play little games and flirt with each other, though at the time they didn't realize it but as they got older Tess started to realize that she had feelings for him. She wasn't sure if he had the same feelings and if he did, did her know what they were या meant.
When he turned thirteen he never showed up the summer like the others, ever since then they haven't see each other. It's been five years and no matter how hard she tries to forget him and tell herself she was to young to feel what she had felt that it was just a mixed up memory in her mind she couldn't let go.

"and the reason I asked आप to dance is, because in truth, I just really wanted to hold you. I've missed आप and it's, in it's own way, been killing me."
Tess couldn't believe she was hearing this. Was this a prank, the only person that knew about the whole Sam thing was Shauna and she would never betray her like that.
"I'm serious Tess, I've missed you. I've missed your smile, I miss making आप smile, I miss hearing your voice, I even miss आप punching me when I say something stupidly ridiculous." she smiled at the last one. "Well आप we're really good at doing that."
They paused for a सेकंड as Tess laid her head down on his shoulder and his arms tightened around her. "Sam, did आप request the song?" she felt a little laugh come from his chest. "Still incredibly smart I kind of expected that to stay. Ya, I did." Tess hugged her arms around his neck tighter. "Very good choice." "I thought so."
The song was fading and the upbeat rhythm of some 80s song from her mothers playlist began to play, breaking the mood. "Sam come on its ready." Tess's brother said. James, and Brody, Sam's brother, came over and tugged on him before they had the chance to let go of each other. "I was in the middle of something." Sam कहा staring directly at Tess.
