Edward’s POV

    I sat in my room moping. It has been 3 days. It was hard living without Bella in my life. She was the reason for my existence. The reason I’m still alive. Alice was downstairs, searching for anything on Bella’s future. Still cloudy. Still nothing.
    If I could cry, I would be spilling tears right now. I thought back to the night Bella was kidnapped, searching for anything that might lead me to her. I couldn’t think of anything.
    That night, I followed her trail before I called Charlie. Her trail ended at the airport. I followed it until it disappeared. Into the air it went. This is the only thing that stops a vampire. I couldn’t smell her scent anymore. Vampire’s can’t fly, so I couldn’t get high enough to smell her.
    I ran back to the house and called Charlie to tell him the news. He was devastated. He called Renee, and she flew up here the अगला day. They sent out TV broadcasts everywhere. Bella’s picture was on every news channel available. Little did people know, they weren’t going to find her that way.
    The only way we could find her was if Lorenzo hadn’t flown with her. I felt a hole in my chest, waiting any moment to rip itself open. It was my fault she was gone. It was my fault I would never see her again.     If I hadn’t insisted she stay downstairs without me, this would of never happened. If I would of listened closely to the thoughts that night, I would of heard him and taken him down right there. But I didn’t let Bella come upstairs with me. I didn’t listen to the thoughts closely that night. Instead, I was upstairs, worrying over a stupid vision Alice saw where the party was blurry, only to have it be the wolves. It was my fault Bella was gone.
    Just then, my phone rang, pulling from my hatred towards myself. I looked at the caller id and dropped the phone. If my दिल was beating, it would explode right now. I would have had a दिल attack, and that’s very hard for a vampire to do.
    I picked up the phone and opened it quickly.
    “Bella! Where are you? What happened?” I कहा screaming into the phone. Everyone downstairs must of heard me, because they all came rushing up the stairs and came into my bedroom watching me.
    “Ssh! He can probably still hear आप and me. Listen, I don’t know where I am. All I remember is being suffocated. It’s dark here. I’m really scared Edward. He’s going to hurt me,” she said. I could hear her crying. I looked to my family’s faces. They were pained. Especially Jasper’s as he felt the angry, sad, and scared emotions coming off of me.
    “It’s okay, Bella. We’re going to find you. I promise,” I कहा with sadness in my voice. I started wondering if I could keep this promise. Would we find Bella ever again?
    “How long has it been since I was gone?” she asked.
    “It’s been 3 days. Bella, we’re going to find you. I promise,” I कहा again.
    “Edward, I प्यार you,” she said.
    “I know, Bella. I know. I प्यार you, too,” I said. It hurt me so much to hear her in pain. I could hear the pain behind her words.
    “WHO ARE आप TALKING TO DOWN THERE?” I heard in the background. I suddenly tensed. It was Lorenzo.     I knew what he was fixing to do to her.
    “I thought I कहा to not hear a peep out of you,” I heard him say again. I heard a door open in the background and heard him come down the stairs. I heard him snatch the phone from Bella.
    “Who is this?” he asked.
    “You should know who this is. It’s Edward. I swear, Lorenzo, if आप touch one hair on her head, I swear I will hunt आप down myself and joyfully kill you. I will give आप a slow and painful death,” I growled at him. I saw Esme’s reaction. She was shocked. But at the moment I didn’t care. I was so pissed, it wasn’t even funny.
    “Well, Edward,” he finally said, “now आप can hear me beat your little girlfriend.”
    “NO!” I screamed. But it was too late. He had already set the phone down. I heard a loud slap at the other end of the line. I started to snarl furiously. I then heard what was the removal of something. A belt? I heard a loud pop continuously over and over. I then heard the worst thing I could ever hear in my existence. Bella’s screams filled the phone. I stopped my snarling and froze. My eyes were huge. I could see my reaction in my family’s thoughts. I didn’t care. I heard the continuous of the popping noise on the line. I heard Bella’s pleads, screams, and begs for Lorenzo to stop. But it didn’t stop. It continued for another five मिनटों until I heard Bella hush.
    I began worrying. If he had killed her, I was going to kill him with a smile on my face. Lorenzo picked up the phone and began talking into the phone.
    “That was fun. I think I’ll start doing that every night. Oh, and द्वारा the way, your little girlfriend isn’t dead. She’s just passed out,” he कहा laughing.
    “I swear, Lorenzo when I find you, I’m going to kill आप with a smile on my face,” I growled.
         “You won’t ever find me. Okay, well I got to go, Edward. And don’t bother calling again. I’m going to destroy her phone. And don’t think you’ll see her again, because आप won’t. Your little friend, Alice can’t see me. So goodbye forever, Edward,” he said. I was fixing to throw a threat at him, but I heard a crackling and the line went dead.
    I sat there with a फ्रोज़न expression on my face. My family and I sat there for 30 minutes. Finally I felt an arm come over my shoulders. Their hands pulled the phone from my ear and set it down. I looked over. It was Esme. She had a soft expression on her face.
    “It’s going to be okay, sweetie,” she said. “We’re going to find, Bella. Alive,” she added. “I promise. We will not rest until we’ve found her.”
    “How can we find her? We can’t see her, therefore, we can’t find her!” I कहा crying tearless sobs.
    She pulled my head against her chest so I could rest my head.
    “Has that ever stopped us before?” she कहा comforting me.
    “No,” Rosalie broke in. I glanced at her shocked. She never cared about Bella. Why was she worrying now. She must of saw the expression on my face because कहा in her thoughts, Shut up and listen.
    “Edward, I know it may seem like I’ve never cared in the past,” she कहा coming over. She sat down in front of me on her knees and put a hand on my knee. “But I hate seeing आप like this. Face it. You’re lifeless without, Bella. We’re the only ones who can find her right now. If we have to, we will gather all the वैंपायर in the world to find her,” she said. I couldn’t believe my ears! Rosalie was trying to comfort me.
    “We will खोजिए every inch of the world and won’t rest until we’ve found my little sister,” Emmett कहा coming to sit द्वारा Rosalie.
    “Yeah. I miss her, too, Edward. But sitting here in your room is not going to solve anything,” Alice said.
    Everyone came and sat in front of me.
    “Son, I promise we will find her. You’re not the only one who cares about her,” Carlisle said.
    “Edward, आप need to calm down. We will find her,” Jasper said.
    “Let me call Tanya and her family so they can help,” Carlisle said.
    I knew I couldn’t win so I said, “Okay.”
