Chapter 23: Hide and please don't seek.

This is a small book i am लेखन about the life of Renesmee cullen after (Breaking Dawn)(she is now a teen) It is in he rpoint of view for almost the whole time (with a few exceptions) I suggest starting from chapter 1 to get the full impact and information (:

My final decision that led me घर was based on the fact that i had a sudden need for comfort. Although the truth that i hated what i had become made me doubt myself the whole way.It wasn't that being a vampire was wrong, but that it wasn't what was supposed to happen.

If it had came down to it, and i could make the choice i would've कहा no. Of course not because i resent being a vampire, but because of my family. I need to be what i was sadly it's too late for that.

Whether is was a sub-concious या concious desicion i'll never know. But somehow i ended back in the small town of forks once more. The nightime sky was filled with clouds, blocking tiny peices of golden light from shining through.

I didn't want to take any roads in far of seeing या smelling a human. The very scent of one drove my senses wild. I would be forever contained द्वारा the flames which incarcerated my throat.

I was a monster now. A newborn, blood crazed monster who wasn't prepared for any of this. I broke through the closest forest opening that was availible. I would have had trouble navagating my way through the town if it wasn't for my newly enhanced vision.

Brown and green blurs flashed द्वारा me at each side. I soon realised i had gotten onto the wrong pathway.

I stopped for a moment to recollect my location, looking for any familiar markings. But not the damp घास nor the moss covered tree's held much similarities for me.

I soon found the negative side to my enhanced vision. It made finding my way around the large, lush area much harder. Each detail of the dark forest stood out at me. Every line in a tree, every petal placed on a delicate flower; It was harder to pay attention to the bigger picture with the intricate details that were placed within.

The cold weather that was supposed to fill the air was an eerie room tempature against my ice cold skin that covered my और durable body. During my time in Italy I did miss the smell of damp air whirling about.

It felt comforting to have it around me now. I started to take steps further into the dark area. I heard a faint snap crack from behind me; jumping at the sound, i imedietly covered my surroundings.

I was begining to think of the possibilities of what might be near. I decided i should run. If it was a human, i didn't want to harm them.

Taking a bound आगे to step into my run, a i felt a hand placed on my shoulder.If i had a heartbeat, it would have excelerated. I quickly whipped around peering into the darkness.

I was suprised to see a familiar silhouette. Her golden hair stood out in the darkness, framing her horrorstruck face as she met my gaze.

"Renesmee?"

Her voice shook lightly as she took a step closer. I only nod once. I didn't know what to say, i was speechless. I hadn't planned at all how i would explain to them.

"What have they done to you!" She exclaimed.

"Rose!" A voice called from the dark forest. With a gust of wind the voice was now beside Rosalie. Emmette stared at me with the same puzzled expression between shock and awe.

"What do we do Em?" I heard her ask in a small voice

"We need to bring her back..." Emmette said, already planning a route in his head. "Come along Renesmee" They both seemed out of it as they marvled at me.

In a मिनट या so we reached Carlisle's house. As we approched the oh- so familiar building, it didn't feel right. The house which was in reality, my सेकंड home, felt like a strange place to me. If it wasn't for rosalie literaly pulling me into the house, i would've stood motionless outside.

My eyes were glued to the floor, i didn't want to meet anyone else's gaze once more. Silence filled through me as i listened to the confounded voices which floated around me.

"Rosalie, Emette?" I heard Alice ask as we entered the large घर "Your back early, is everything alright?"

Before i knew it she was down the stairs. I heard her small voice break into a gasp. I could explain it and picture it as many times as i want, but i knew all of their expressions would be the same.

Dumbfounded, horror-struck, speechless, shocked, astonished. The सूची goes on.

As soon as the gasp broke loose, the room felt और filled. I could easily distinguish the footsteps. There must be one..two..three..four.. six people here. I was suddenly glad that my parents were not apart of theese sets. And even और glad that Jacob wasn't.

"Renesmee?" Carlisle asked quietly, almost silent. I looked up, unglueing my eyes from the floor.

I stared back at carlisle who was now shaking his head lightly in disbelife.

"..I better call Edward and Bella"

He trailed off into the house. Esme was at my side, rubbing her hand soothingly across my back. It was different. I was so used to their ice cold touch and now their warm touch felt foriegn. I peered around the room;

Jasper was eyeing me cautiously, judging my movements. Determining the severity of my thirst. Thinking about it only made it worse, the flames would rip through my throat. Sending a flow of liquid with it. But the liquid was never soothing, it burned just as much and had a कड़वा taste to it.

I would never admit to how much my thirst did rage, but i didn't have to. At least not with Jasper around. His mouth twitched in the slightest way as if to express somthing but then in the same moment my parents wheeled through the doorway.

"Renesmee!" My mother exclaimed as she ran to my side. She wrapped her warm arms around me protectivly, but flinched as she did. She shot a cautious look at alice, then held me tighter. My father put his hand ontop of my head, brushing my hair out of my face.

I looked up to meet his bewildered gaze and his jaw dropped just the slightest bit when he caught glimps of my bloodred eyes. He quickly recovered his composure and turned to carlisle.

"What happened?" His voice was hard, yet had a soft tone to it. A tone of worry.

The room was silent for a moment. Nobody knew, with the exception of me.

"We found her in to forest.." Rosalie's voice trilled slowly

"While we were hunting" Emmette added, trying to find as many details as possible.

My father searched around the room for a moment. "No Jasper" He spoke "It seems as if she is fine - for now" He added.

I knew they were talking about my thirst and my control. Although i hadn't exactly prepared for this, i was surrounded द्वारा it constantly. This wasn't new to me.

Finaly my mother turned to me. "Renesmee.." She started softly "Do आप remember dear?"

I thought for a moment. I could lie, and say i don't remember what happened before the change. But that would be absurd, i have already hurt them enough. I think it is time to tell them of my happenings in Italy, and the worst part is i have to tell them i will be returning in one years time.

I pondered for a moment wondering how i would come upon such a fragile subject. Sadly i did remember it all. Alec, the Volturi, the Attack and even the burning.

I bit my lip lightly and wondered over to the couch, i sat down carefully weighing the options in my head.

I Didn't sit down for comfort, और so room. I didn't like being crowded, या attention. But i could tell through my personal indecision all eyes were on me. I took a deep breath,it was only then i realised i hadn't breathed since my confrontation with Rosalie.

"I do" I कहा the words slowly. "I remember it all". I stared at the floor for a moment, as i let the silence sink in. "But do आप really want to know it all, या just the nesccasities?"

"I think the complete story would give us the advantage, dear." I heard my mother pry quietly.

I bit my lip anxiously "I was afraid आप would say that."

"Well" I continued "There was complications that were caused with my coming to the Volturi..I'm sure father already knows of this though.." I कहा looking into the direction of my Father.

The eyes were on him for a moment as he thought about what had happened. I was glad the attention was momentarily pulled away from me.

"Edward?" My mother edged, sqeezing his hand.

"When we went to get her from the Volturi Alec had been so - protective of Renesmee. I couldn't figure out why at first, he wasn't thinking much of it for obvious reasons. Then he let it slip his mind.."

"You mean Alec was interested in -" I heard Esme ask cautiously

My father nod his head once, looking solemly at the flooring.

"Dang Renesmee, आप really do attract danger. Literally." Emmette laughed. Rosalie shot emmette a look and elbowed him in the ribs.

I smiled "I'm starting to think आप all might be right about that.."

I turned solem once और reminceing about my times in Italy.

"But आप can imagine how that effected things.. The दिन came when i decided i should come home. I had assisted them for months already and decided that it would be best to part away. Alec didn't have the same positive reaction as the rest did, so आप can imagine his frustration when Aro agreed to my leaving."

I looked around the room once more. Their all too obsorbed eyes poured into the story. Mixed emotions crossed their faces, although i seemed to focus in on carlisle he would understand most about Volturi living.

Carlisle seemed to be understanding about it. Yet i could tell a few key points confused him, like why they would let me leave without punishment. I knew i would have to tell them that i was to return in one years time - eventualy.

"He got angry, a little too angry. He lunged at Demetri, but missed. He got me." I looked back down as the words escaped my mouth.

"He bit you?" I heard my father ask disgusted "I'm going to kill him!"

"Now, now Edward." Carlisle soothed "There is no need to make any harsh decisions"

"They could have killed her!" Rosalie exclaimed. My mother nodded in agreement.

"But i'm alive." I said, i noticed the irony of the words "Well - as alive as this is."

"Renesmee, आप don't have to stand for them.." Emmette said, trying to persuade me to agree.

"This was an act of one" I stated grimly.

Silence filled the room once more. Because i was right, this wasn't an act of the volturi. This was an Act of one; Alec.

"Though i was never told about the transformation being so short.."

Their heads flashed up "What?" Jasper asked quietly

I confused look covered my face. Had none of them experinced such a short transformation? "It was only a couple of hours - not days. I was always told of the days of fire..."

My father shot carlisle a look "Carlisle?"
But he was just as baffled. They had the same look as Aro did. Confused. Maybe this was new to the Vampire world...

"Renesmee.. आप कहा hours, right?"

I smiled "Of course, It couldn've been quite long. I remember Aro being just as baffled."

"Oh great..." My father moaned defeatingly "Wolves caught scent of a vampire...."

I gasped lightly. "No, please. Don't let them know i'm here. And if आप do, do not let them see me.."

"Renesmee don't आप think Jacob deserves to see आप - he's waited so long.." My mother tried to persuade me.

"I'm pretty sure he would rather not see me, then see me as a vampire.."

I dissapeared into the large house. Making my way upstairs i tucked myself queitly into a room, refusing to leave until i was sure they were gone. I was playing a game of hide and seek, and i knew i must win this time.

Sorry about taking so long to put up the chapter! I have been so busy these past few days! I had Canada day, and then i went to a katy perry संगीत कार्यक्रम and then a friend from North carolina visted! But i will write और and i hope आप all enjoyed the chapter!
