what is the whole team edward team jacob thing about?

I'm only new to twilight so i dont really know. Is it which one is hotter what is it all about?

well this is this whole वाद-विवाद on who's on team edward या team jacob.i am on both teams so go team switzerland!(or jakeward,i don't really care,as long as it's both)i think team edward represent the vamps and team jacob represent the werewolves.don't worry, आप can be on both teams.GO TEAM SWITZ!!!

I think there are people on both sides who only see looks but personally for me it really is his personality that made me a fan. I always have a soft spot for an underdog(lol) in the stories I read and watch. Also he didn't for me come off as an intruder especially when Bella was practically abandoned द्वारा the Cullen family(no matter how good his intent was she felt abandoned). Bella came to Jacob of course to indulge in her hallucinations but it slowly became more. Bella admitted to loving Jacob but that प्यार wasn't as strong as her feelings for Edward. Jacob did hope that her feelings would change but I don't think he was a bad person to hope for a better situation for Bella.
