"If आप want we can wait until after आप graduate."

"No! No. It's fine."

"You don't sound so sure about that."

"We just have to wait until summer and then we can figure everything out."

"You really don't have to do this right away,"

"No! I want to. I promise." I moved my face down and kissed Duncan while moving his hands onto my waist. He was sitting on the side of his बिस्तर in a pair of loose sweatpants. I was standing in front of him in black shorts and a tank top. I kept my hands on his wrists. He smirked against my lips and pulled me down onto his lap. I squealed and laughed.

"Come on, babe, we don't have to do this before college if आप don't want to." He told me before चुंबन me again.

"No, I want to. The sooner the better. And then it isn't hanging over my head while I'm studying." I laughed. He laughed also and kissed me again.

"If that's what आप want," he whispered.

"It is." I whispered back. He pulled me close to him and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Then there was a knock on Duncan's door. Alex opened it and poked his head in.

"Guys, everyone's waiting on you. I think Richard is going to flip his shit if आप don't come down soon." He said.

"We better get downstairs then." I कहा to Duncan while I stood up, pulling him with me.

"It's not like आप didn't get your सेकंड present last night." Alex called to us. I blushed deeply.

"Don't act like आप didn't प्यार it." Duncan whispered in my ear before slightly nipping at my earlobe. I giggled and pushed his face away.

"Come on. We say nothing to our parents."

"What? We used protection," he offered. I just laughed and walked downstairs and into the living room, where everyone was sitting and waiting to open gifts on क्रिस्मस morning. We sat down as well before Duncan's brothers and Alex started tearing paper off boxes.

The दिन was soon done, and we had to go back home. Richard, Mom, and Alex were in the car with the bags while I stood in the doorway with Duncan in front of me.

"Love you. See आप later." I कहा before he kissed my forehead.

"Love आप too." He whispered. I kissed his lips before walking over to the car and sitting in the back with Alex.

Weeks passed, and Duncan and I started working on the broad topics for the wedding. I spent my free periods studying while talking with Duncan over the phone. We decided that the wedding तारीख, दिनांक would be on October 31 of अगला year. The रंग would be white, black, and purple. But once we found the dress, my mom made me eat nothing fattening. I was already stick thin and the dress was a bit big on me – even though it was the smallest size. Duncan told me he would take care of the tux. Geoff – who had started studying फोटोग्राफी down in Florida – had contacted us and Duncan told him about the wedding. Even though the invites had been sent, Geoff was still surprised. He told us about his studies and offered to take चित्रो for us –free of charge. That was all the reason I needed.

Then it was summer. Duncan turned nineteen and bought an apartment a few blocks down from my house. He brought me there for my graduation gift. I moved in with him and we continued planning the wedding. Duncan promised me that he would take care of catering if I took care of the संगीत situation.

It was June 5. I was sitting at the counter in our apartment with my laptop open, other papers scattered around. I had two windows open on the screen. Duncan walked in, obviously being घर from his job. He worded down at the संगीत store a few blocks over. He looked at the papers on the counter and saw that I was still debating between a live band या a DJ.

"Gwens, what is keeping आप from deciding?" he asked me while चुंबन my cheek.

"I don't know. I just can't decide." I said.

"Let's settle this like they did in olden days."

"What? बंदूकों at fifty paces?" I asked.

"No. Like this." He कहा while pointing back and forth to live band and DJ while muttering something under his breath. "And आप are it." He ended with his finger on live band. "See? Ennie Meenie never fails." He said. I smiled before my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and widened my eyes. It was clear as day. When it kept ringing, Duncan looked down at it. "Is it too late to say I want a DJ?" he asked.

Trent Smith

"I'll figure this out." I whispered while picking up the phone as Duncan walked into our room, pulling a notebook off the dresser. "Gwen Roth, speaking." I कहा calmly.

"Hi, Gwen. Remember me?" Trent asked. His voice sounded different, but still calm, cool, and collected. He sounded almost nervous.

"Oh! Hi, Trent." I कहा calmly.

"Hi. Yeah. I just wanted to tell आप something." He said. I could hear his fingers tapping on a तालिका, टेबल near him.

"Sure. What is it?"

"Well, a few weeks ago, Courtney and I met up-"

"And as in 'a few weeks ago' आप mean when आप two started law school early because you're both freaking geniuses and आप ended up having every class together." I offered. Trent chuckled.

"Sort of." He paused. "Okay yes. But anyways, I think that she's the one." He said. I widened my eyes. "You know, we've been studying together, and we've been on a few dates, but I really think that she's the right one for me."

"Well that's…" I trailed off, still surprised.

"That's what?" he asked, sounding a bit alarmed.

"That's great." I कहा with a smile. Duncan poked his head in through the door to our bedroom.

"What's great?" he asked. I moved the mouthpiece away from my mouth.

"Trent and Courtney are together." I said.

"Who're आप talking to?" Tent asked.

"Duncan. He's over for coffee." I lied quickly. Duncan gave me the WTF face and I shrugged.

"Really? Can I talk with him?" Trent asked.

"Sure." I कहा before standing up and walking over to Trent. "Take the damn phone and don't say anything about the wedding." I hissed at Duncan before he kissed my cheek. He pressed my phone to his ear. "And be nice." I added.

"Hello?" there was a pause. "Oh, हे man." He walked into our room and closed the door. I sighed and sat back down at my computer.

"Live band it is." I while e-mailing my mom about anyone she knew.
