Rudy Wade spot! 

Walking through a dead site, a fan too late, it's really strange!
The character reminds me of a friend I once had, the actor is a dead ringer for the friend-although they are half a world away from one another. It's strange how two people can share the same mannerisms, the same voice, the same brand of silly, yet one was born in Texas. My once upon a time buddy, was quite the genius, yet he struggled with many issues, issues I tried to help him with. He was mentally unstable, like all three Rudy's, except Douglas 2 and 3 were the strongest. I adored Douglas one (smile), and tried to make that part of him stronger. Well... There came a day when I could help Doug no longer. He afflicted himself terribly. Such a beautiful weirdo he was, but he was also brutal and needy. He had a car accident, and I looked after him for a year. I helped him get his speech back, the use of his arms and legs, his ability to play the piano and guitar... He functioned normally, which was phenomenal since the car crash had damaged his frontal lobe, which they removed. Sadly, they removed my Douggy too. The only thing left were the mean, hateful, and needy versions of himself. Thankfully, when they removed the beautiful Douggy, they took his motivation, which meant when he was mean, he wasn't able to care enough to be physically abusive...
Recently, I watched this show, loved the first three seasons, expected to hate the change-over, but ... it was nice to remember my friend in a happy way. The Rudy character allowed me to find closure for the man who died in the car crash. I honestly do not know where the remnant Doug is, I put him in the care of his parents before returning to my life. Just want to say thanks.
By the way... Both Doug and I are now in our 50's. I am a lady who is mixed with white and black... he used to say he loved me the first time he saw me... we were 12, I wore flowers in my hair.
I hope that was not too weird. It's bizarre for me, but I am accustomed to the bizarre. Just so happy to have watched a lighthearted show my good friend would have loved.... Cheers!
