I'm going to copy what I wrote on Facebook a few days ago {those of you on the Whatsapp chat already know what I'm going to say.}

I received some sad news yesterday, I will no longer be taking care of Nathan and Meela after summer ends. 😥 Meela will be attending a monasory school (I'm not spelling it right but it's something like that) full-time. I knew this day would come eventually, I just thought I had more time... I'm devastated, there's no way around that fact. I love these children with all my heart and I still can't process the fact that in a short time, I won't be seeing them on a daily basis. I won't get to watch them grow every day, won't be there to hug them and read to them and play with them...

I know it's the reality of this career path I've chosen but it's still not easy. That's what nobody tells you about taking care of other people's children - to do a good job, you have to grow attached to them, but that attachment will be what kills you inside when it's time to say goodbye.

I don't know what else to say, I'm taking the weekend to try and get my emotions in check and then I'll start looking for what's next. A new child or children to take care of, but like with all the children I've taken care of, Meela and Nathan will always have a special place in my heart. ❤❤❤

Awh babe, I've been feeling sad seeing your posts on Facebook cause I know how much they mean to you! It's not easy saying goodbye to people you love but unfortunately that's part of life and we all have to go through it :( Be strong Holly xxx

Ah Holls, I'm really sorry you're feeling so down about it but truth be told this is what comes with your job. Every job has difficulties and one of yours is that at some point you will have to say goodbye and move on. Though remember that a part of your knowledge and personality will be forever craved in these children's hearts and they will always remember you with love the same way you will. And of course you can still arrange to go visit them & learn how they're doing! Hang in there :D & I hope you will find a new job too and more children to be able to bond with and have a good time!

I've seen how much you love those little munchkins, and how much they love you! You are amazing at your job and those kiddos were lucky to have you! Of course you'll never forget them, but as Maria said, there will be new opportunities for you and even more children to love! Hang in there <33333

I agree with Maria. Hang in there because it will get better in time and hopefully you'll take care of new kids that are going to be as special as the ones you took care of. Remember that you'll always going to be a part of their life and that you still have the amazing memories of the time spent with them :) LOVE YOU <33333
