"Oh my god, P.Sawyer, that boy is so fine. I can't believe आप actually went out on a तारीख, दिनांक with him. " Brooke breathed out dreamily as she sat down अगला to Peyton in the lunch room.
Peyton looked up from her drawing and followed Brooke's gaze to Nathan Scott. The तारा, स्टार basket ball player. "He's alright." She muttered shrugging her shoulders.
Brooke looked at her with wide eyes and a shocked expression, "Peyton, you're crazy, he's the hottest guy in school."
"I guess he's just not my type." Peyton कहा simply. In truth she was lying. She found Nathan Scott to be one of the most attractive guys at the school and although his bad attitude turned a lot of people off for some reason it drew her और to him. He took her out to a nice restaurant, treated her well, they talked, and when she made it clear that she didn't want to किस him, he respected that.
"You know every single girl is jealous of आप because he asked आप out. They all want him." Brooke smirked at her best friend.
Peyton rolled her eyes, "Well, they can have him. I went on a तारीख, दिनांक with him and that's it."
"Shut up." Brooke कहा sticking her tongue out at Peyton, "I'm pretty sure आप like him." suddenly her eyes went wide and she straightened out her shoulders. "Dude, he's walking towards us!" Brooke screeched in a hushed whisper.
"What why?" Peyton asked astonished.
"Because I can read his mind right?"
Peyton rolled her eyes at her best friend.
"Hey." Nathan कहा smiling and walking up to the both of them.
"Uh, hi." Peyton replied a little surprised.
He then turned to Brooke and smiled at her, "Hey." he कहा nodding his head at her.
Brooke smiled and slightly blushed, "Hey."
Nathan turned his attention back to Peyton, "So the after game party is being held at my house today. आप should come."
"Maybe." Peyton कहा shrugging her shoulders.
"Well, I hope to see आप there." he कहा winking at her and walking away.
As soon as he left Brooke let out a loud screech, "OH MY GOD. He wants you!"
"He hits on anything with boobs and a butt." Peyton कहा rolling her eyes.
"Well, आप have neither girl so there MUST be something about you." Brooke कहा sticking her tongue out at her best friend.
"Dude, shut up." Peyton कहा throwing a piece of रोटी at Brooke and laughing.
Brooke giggled and wiped the रोटी off of her, "Come on P.Sawyer we have to go the party tonight."
Peyton shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know B. I'm not really up for it. I want to just hang out at home."
"Oh come on P.Sawyer आप can listen to your ईमो संगीत and draw your depressing art any other time. This is a party at Nathan Scott's and he wants आप there! Do आप not realize how big that is?" Brooke whined.
"Ugh" Peyton rolled her eyes and got up, "Fine, we'll go to that party, but me and Nathan? Not happening. He's such an ass, B."
"Okay, okay fine." Brooke put her hands up in surrender."Whatever आप say." She winked at her best friend not exactly believing her.
"I mean it, B.Davis!"
"I believe you, P.Sawyer!"
Peyton drove up to Nathan's house in full speed with the संगीत pounding, she screeched into a parking spot and halted the car. Brooke looked at her horrified.
"Peyton Elizabeth, I swear one दिन you're going to kill me with your driving."
Peyton smirked at her best friend, "Then drive yourself places." She got out of the car followed द्वारा Brooke and stood in front of the house. People were on the porch drinking, smoking, dancing, making out, and all sorts of other things.
"This should be fun." Peyton muttered sarcastically.
"It WILL be fun." Brooke glared at Peyton, "Make it fun."

Peyton awkwardly stood द्वारा herself observing the people around her. She actually knew most of these people and a lot of them considered her a friend, she unfortunately only considered a few of them acquaintances.

Peyton turned around to find the one and only Nathan Scott smirking at her.
"And how many girls heard that line from आप tonight?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Good."
Peyton rolled her eyes at him but couldn't help but smile. "I'm going to go---" Peyton started looking around the room for a place to escape.
"Come on, I really can't be that bad of company." Nathan कहा as he leaned आगे closer to her. "You seemed to like our date."
"mhmm. I'm a good actress." Peyton winked and was about to walk away when Nathan grabbed her hand.
"Come on, take a walk with me."
"Uh no thanks." Peyton scoffed at him attempting to pull her hand free.
"Come on." Nathan insisted almost dragging her out the door.
"Okay, fine, fine. I'm coming."
The two of them slowly walked the empty streets. "I like the quite." Nathan remarked thoughtfully.
Peyton looked at him surprised, "Really? I always thought of आप as a noise and riot kind of guy."
"Well, I like that too." Nathan कहा smirking at her.
"Can आप stop smirking at me?" Peyton asked rolling her eyes.
"Can आप stop rolling your eyes at me?"
Peyton was about to roll her eyes again, but stopped herself. "Whatever." she muttered. "Why are we walking anyways? It's dark outside and cold."
Nathan smiled and sat down on a nearby bench, "Why are आप so scared to be alone with me?"
Peyton sat down अगला to him, "I am NOT scared of you." She insisted.
"Then go out on another तारीख, दिनांक with me."
"No"
"Why not?"
"Because one was enough." Peyton insisted.
"Not for me." Nathan remarked.
"Nathan Scott, there are about a million dumb cheerleaders who are dying to get a तारीख, दिनांक with you, go chase after one of them."
"Na, they all bore me. I find आप interesting."
"Yeah and then the दिन will hit where I'll bore you."
"I don't think so, Peyton Sawyer. I don't think anyone will ever find आप boring."
Peyton turned to look him in the eyes, "Wow, Nathan Scott, आप sure know how to charm a girl." She spit out sarcastically.
Nathan stared at her and suddenly leaned in, grabbed her face, and kissed her throwing Peyton completely off guard. He then let go of her. "I'll pick आप up Saturday, 9 pm?"
Peyton continued to stare at him in shock.
Nathan smiled, "Okay, then I'm assuming that's fine." he कहा leaning down and चुंबन he sweetly on the cheek, shocking Peyton again. He then leaned in and whispered in her ear, "You really do look hot today." he कहा and walked away leaving a confused Peyton sitting on the bench.
It's been six months since the दिन Nathan had forced Peyton to go on a सेकंड तारीख, दिनांक with him and shocked her with how sweet he was. They started dating exclusively a few weeks after that and became the school's hottest couple within days.
Peyton was standing द्वारा her locker talking to Brooke when Nathan grabbed her द्वारा the arm, leaned her into the locker and began to किस her, causing Peyton to giggle. Brooke rolled her eyes at the two of them, "Okay, gross. I'll see आप later P.Sawyer." She कहा smiling and walking off towards class. Peyton broke apart from Nathan, "Bye, B.Davis!" She screamed at her best friend who just smiled and waved at her. Nathan pulled Peyton's face towards him again and continued चुंबन her.
A few lockers away two kids stood there staring at them.
"Do they really have to stand there making out in front of the lockers?" Lucas asked annoyed.
Haley laughed, "Luke, can आप make your crush on Peyton Sawyer any और obvious?"
"Hales, I don't have a crush on Peyton." Lucas कहा sternly looking at his best friend.
"Sure, आप don't. I believe you."
"I just don't understand how she can तारीख, दिनांक such an ass." Lucas कहा looking at the couple once again and shaking his head.
"Whatever." Haley कहा shrugging her shoulders. "They don't even seem like the couple that'll last. They break up every two weeks according to the gossip vine."
"Yeah." Lucas कहा shrugging his shoulders, "I feel sorry for the poor girl who ends up with him." he spit out venomously.
"Only an idiot would तारीख, दिनांक him." Haley कहा seriously.
"Well, except for Peyton, she's not an idiot." Lucas insisted.
Haley rolled her eyes at her best friend and smiled, "Walk me to class Scott." she कहा linking her arm with his. The two of them walked off to class not realizing how ironic their words would turn out to be.
