I believe that people only really despise Kikyo because she's basically the 'antagonist' to Kagome's character, and she drives a wedge in between InuYasha and Kagome's relationship. But in all honesty, I like it like that. It adds angst and interest to the story; could आप imagine how boring it would be if Kikyo had never been resurrected? आप say that it would be better now. But InuYasha and Kagome's प्यार story would be lame. LAME. There's no conflict! InuYasha wouldn't be sacrificing anything(anyone) द्वारा choosing Kagome, and Kagome wouldn't be sacrificing anything (i.e. her happiness) to wait for him. She wouldn't be दिखा रहा है her profound प्यार for him, and there would be no pain involved. It gives their प्यार depth.
So people, please stop hating on Kikyo unless आप have a good reason to. Please. It's not fair to her.
ANYWAY, I प्यार Kikyo and I like her place in the story, but that does not mean I support InuYasha/Kikyo. Because I don't. But I do like their past together. I think that their relationship has pretty much sailed, and he's going to be with Kagome regardless. But I like seeing the flashbacks of him with Kikyo. It's very romantic. :)
