Ok guys...just found the mag where this extract comes from. It's called 'A Magazine' so scroll down till you see the scans. It's in Italian but somebody already translated it. In a way it's worse than we expected...meaning she was not bitter at all and her interview was totally along Lisa lines except for the 'Hugh is not at all my type'. Why? Guessing b/c he doesn't fit into her asshole ideal man mold. She's been singing the oh-Hugh-is-so-sexy-too-bad-he's-married song for years how come out of the blue he doesn't give her the hots anymore? Guys I really don't know what to make out of it...I guess all my positiveness has gone down the drain :-((

Not only that Al...she wasn't bitter so that would lead to assume she actually means that...and she wasn't sending any message. But then again the 'he's not at all my type' line is totally inconsistent with what she's been saying so far...

"The death of Huli" is something Huli fans couldn't take as easy as 1, 2, 3...

Well..she isn't into Hugh I guess. So we we're just wishful thinking the whole time. This makes me feel ill. I just feel that intense sense of failure..man this sucks so bad.

CB I wish I could share you optimism..but she didn't have to say some of those things..she could of made a point without bringing Hugh into it.

On top of that it seems she brought it up of her own free will as the question only asked: 'Be honest, Hugh Laurie is as much of a rascal as House is?'

CB if that would be true she would say only what usualy: he's handsome but married without part not in my type.

Maybe Hugh already told her to stop blabbing the things she usually does. Like a reprimand or something that maybe tips her infatuated feeling to Hugh off. Just a theory to share

Look what I think is that...Ok I'm thinking on french toast but that doesn't matter...Look Lisa has said that her type of man was asses before and probably she just said the whole Hugh is not my type because they were speaking of him but really I don't think she meant it. Like it's a written interview we cannot see how she said it and her body language and that's really important. Maybe she just said it the Lisa style, like a joke and all happy, maybe she wasn't serious and besides CB is right. She has gone through enough trouble by saying he's perfect so maybe she just wants the press toi back off and leave her relationship with Hugh alone (doesn't matter if they are friends or having an affair). I think that this is anything but an interview. There could be worse things. Hugh could actually say that he hates Lisa or something like that so my dear sinners...believe in your ship!!

And besides yeah she's been saying he's perfect and blah blah but the first time she said it, she said it without the He's a married guy and she began saying it when the press was all in their arses. Then the he's married grew old and the press didn't buyt it anymore so she had to come up with something new.

Finally!!!

That did somewhat make me a feel a little better. But I've come to the conclusion that I'm just gonna be more cautious and careful. Instead of going in as a huli..and looking for specifics in interviews and such..I'm just gonna try and view them as an outsider..have an open mind and not get so attached on one word, or look and then try and make a big story out of why it happened. This is what makes things worse. You get stuck and attached on one thing..and then you continue to look for things to prove that that one look meant maybe more than what it did. So the best thing is to just view it as normal as possible. I started getting worried that the huli problems would clash with my love of Huddy LMAO..and that made it worse! so gotta stay postive, and cautious as ever now! Sil and I had fun making jokes..it seriously helps so much being able to joke about the shittiest of situations. I'm glad there's positive people here!

How exactly is this interview different from the other bits? She changed 'the record' and now is singing a different tune :S

I guess the other, main interview has "HUGH IS NOT MY TYPE" right in the title...a real-eye-catcher! SHE IS SOOOOOO LYING and this sentence is the proof that her little rant is BOGUS:
""My perfect man must be funny and intelligent and I have to get the feeling that I can let go, stop being in control.""

The words are the same even though it's just a snatch of it. What actually changes is the overall tone. She sounded bitter almost venomous in short bit but if you read though the whole interview she was not at all. Her tone was nice as usual :-) which rules out her being angry at him. However her changing her mind about him doesn't add up. Either the journalist completely changed her words or something happened after the Paley. Like they realized that event did them in and agreed on her to catch herself in interviews. Let's see how they'll act around each other at the TCA next Thursday!

...You have no idea how fucking confused I am right now. LOL!!! IDC what this says anymore. I can't trust this 100% so I am not going to stress too much about it. This isn't going to change too much for me. I still LOVE Huli and will ALWAYS think that they belong together. I will be more cautious though. As far as I'm concerned Lisa could have been forced to say this by Jo because Jo found out about the supposed affair. Hell, for all I know Lisa was high and not thinking straight. A video would have been VERY useful so we could see the body language but aparentley absolutley noone had a video camera. LOL!!! So yeah. I'm not sad and crying myself to sleep anymore:))) Bring on the TCA's!!!

So, even though this is old news I still feel the need to share my psychological analyzation mixed with my own experiences and I've got four words for this: Playing Hard To Get!
You know what it's like to be in love with someone you know that is the one for you, that there won't be anyone that will be more suited for you and that when it doesn't work out with him you'll end up alone? And that this guy is married, but still does these little things to you and still keeps that tension existing, making you not able to give up hope and try to move on, but all the same staying with his wife and continuely stating that "you don't have that kind of a relationship", crushing your feelings over and over but then looking so helpless at you, as if you're the only thing that will keep him breathing, but never giving you anything so that you can demand anything. Never has one-night-stands with you, never doing anything sweet without declaring first that it's "so nice to have a friendship like yours". And every time you do anything to subtlely find some assurance that he feels something more than friendship, to maybe seduce him, you know he picks up on your flirting and knows what you're doing but for one reason or another just lets you be vulnerable without acting upon his - by you suspected - feelings!

If you haven't stopped reading that frustration-filled sentence, and maybe even recognize (some of) it, here's what I do (yes, I do have that kind of a loveable asshole in my life... sigh) I get desperate and try all the tricks in the book. Playing hard to get is one of them.

Because Hugh shouldn't take her loving gestures and statements for granted.

Well, that said, I am going to try and convince my "best friend" to show me that I CAN make him lose control!
