हेतालिया Fanboys.....We exist damn it!

Tinekraut I really wish there was an equal distribution among fans as to gender. When I was still new to Hetalia, I thought at first that there were more male fans than female since the majority of characters are male and it's based on history and war (although it's more of a comedy). But it turned out that, apparently, there were more female fans. Even among Hetalia cosplayers, you can rarely find a male Hetalia cosplayer. That sucks. I really wish Hetalia cosplays are portrayed as the original gender of the characters they're cosplaying. Why is that so? Is it because of the yaoi or what? I don't think the yaoi in Hetalia is that explicit. It's much more funny actually than romantic. It isn't despicable at all. If I were a boy, I would still love hetalia.

hetalianstella Hetalia is a guys show too! Why can't there be more fanboys! I agree with @Tinekraut. If I was male, Hetalia would still be my favorite show.

yoki96 I'm guessing the yaoi scares people away. It almost scared me away at first, but I decided to give it a shot and see it. And it was nothing like the fandom. Maybe it should be toned down a little................. *enters deep thought and after a few seconds mumbles* Wonder how does Himaruya feel about this?
