A/N: So the chapter शीर्षक has NOTHING to do with this story. Sorry ;) but the return is of moi! my computer broke down but it is better now :) (man, i NEED to get a new computer...) so um... enjoy!
Courtney's P.O.V.
"COOOUUURRRTNEEEYYY!" my mom called from our attic. "Where is your helmet!?" I rolled my eyes.
"How am I supposed to know!?" I yelled back. "I haven't seen it since I was six!"
"You are not making this easy for me, Courtney! Can आप please help me find it!?"
I glanced over at my dad, who was putting my old boots in the trunk. Any idiot would know that they were about six sizes too small.
"I am acctually halping dad put the stuff in the trunk!" I yell up the stairs.
"No your not!" I hear my dad shout from the car.
"Sweetie, can आप please help me find it?" my mom begged. I groaned and sauntered upstairs.
"Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" my little sister, Charlise (we call her Cookie), kept on asking and asking and ASKING eagerly.
"Not yet," my mom calmly replied. Cookie groaned.
"But I wanna see the horsies!" she whined. Cookie picked up her riding हेलमेट (which was once mine) and shoved it over her head.
"Where is everybody?" she asked and giggled. I merely piched the bridge of my nose and sighed.
"I've asked once, and I'll ask it again: Why are we staying here?" I breathed.
"We haven't seen Inez in a long time. आप remember Inez, right? Your old horseback riding instructor?" I nodded. Come to think of it, I missed Inez. She was so funny and she could really connect to me. My mom continued.
"Plus, we found out that there is a summer program where आप can stay at the ranch and spend your summer there. It sounds like fun!"
I moaned. "So we are staying here for the whole summer?" I asked.
"Yes, Courtney. That is why we made आप pack a lot." My dad answered. I slumped in my सीट and stared out the window for a few minutes.
"Here we are, family! Carousel Ranch!" my dad announced. Cookie bounced in her सीट and pressed her face against the glass window.
Our car rolled under a huge arch that had the words "Carousel Ranch" painted in old, blue paint.
This is going to be a looooong summer...
