David Tennant Wins Best Actor At The TV Choice Awards

This year\'s TV Choice Awards winners have been announced at a star studded ceremony in London this evening and David Tennant has received the award for Best Actor for his role as DI Alec Hardy in the second series of the drama Broadchurch.

Also nominated in the category were Aidan Turner (Poldark), James Nesbitt (The Missing) and Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who).

David will once again reprise his role as Alec when Broadchurch returns to ITV for its third series.
