Chapter Five-
Artemis ducked into an alleyway at the site of the police. They probably would recognize her, even here in Germany.
After the car was gone, Artemis headed back towards the cafe where she and होल्ली, होली were supposed to meet.
होल्ली, होली was waiting for her, sipping hot chocolate.
"What took you?" she asked as Artemis sat down.
"Cops." Artemis replied.
होल्ली, होली gave her a puzzling look.
"Long story." Artemis said.
होल्ली, होली nodded and took another sip of her beverage.
"So, आप found anything yet?" होल्ली, होली asked after a quiet moment.
"Nope, no sign nor trace of Luthor." Artemis said. "What about you?"
"Found the company LexCorp is making a deal with, but no sign of the man himself." होल्ली, होली said.
"How hard can it be to find one of the most evil men in the world?"
"Dunno, I'm guessing pretty hard द्वारा our luck."
"We've been here two nights and a दिन already!"
"Don't forget, we've still got to nab him."
The two girls sat in silence for a few moments until Artemis spoke up.
"Do आप hear something?" she asked.
"Police Sirens?" होल्ली, होली replied.
At that moment, police motorbikes drove beside the cafe, two more, two more, then a black limousine. As the limousine passed by, Artemis got a quick glance at the license plate.
"L3X-LTHR" she read aloud.
The two girls looked at each other before dashing away from the growing crowd.

The third guy flew into the दीवार and fell to the ground, senseless.
"I'm not tellin' आप nothin'." The fourth and final man said, arms crossed across his chest.
The caped figure grabbed the man and threw him into the wall. He dug the blade of his dagger into the man's neck.
"I'm getting angry. Do आप know what happens when I get angry?"
The man shook his head.
"I. Get. Extreme." the masked vigilante said, digging the blade deeper into the man's neck with each word.
The man whimpered and looked around nervously.
"Okay, okay!" he said. "Reaper is working for some big company, that's all I know!"
"You sure?" Revenge asked.
"I'm sure!" the man whimpered. "The last transmission was recorded on the laptop over there! That's all I can give you! Honest! Please don't hurt me!"
"I'm not." Revenge said, dropping the man. The masked vigilante kicked him in the face, knocking him out cold.
Revenge typed something on the computer and scrolled down a bit. He clicked a few things and a disk popped out. Revenge picked it up and headed back to base.

Artemis reached into her arsenal.
"Blow the car या kill him straight on?" Artemis asked.
"Straight on. Don't risk civvies." होल्ली, होली said.
Artemis sorted through her arrows before pulling out one.
"This one dissolves thirty सेकंड्स after being fired." she said. "No tracks leading to Green Arrow."
"Let's get this over with." होल्ली, होली said.
Artemis pulled the strings back on her bow and let it fly. The bald business man tripped, falling down as the ऐरो flew over him.
"Shit." Artemis कहा as civilians screamed and ran. Police pulled their weapons out and looked for the attacker.
"Now can we blow up the car?" Artemis asked.
"There!" a cop yelled. "Open Fire!"
"Yeah," होल्ली, होली कहा dryly. "Blow it up."
Artemis pulled out an ऐरो and shot it, but Luthor was already running down an alley.
The car detonated, although होल्ली, होली and Artemis were already running down the alley Luthor had fled into.
होल्ली, होली and Artemis slid on their masks. होल्ली, होली buckled her utility बेल्ट as the girls rounded another corner.
"There!" Artemis yelled.
The archer fired arrows after the businessman, but missed.
"Damn!" she said, rounding another corner. "What's wrong with my aim?"
The two girls found Luthor looking at a brick wall.
"Your tyranny ends here, Luthor." Courage said.
"I don't know what आप are talking about." the man said, turning around.
"That's not Luthor." Artemis said.
The man smirked. "No I certainly am not."
Courage heard the footsteps before she was hit with the crowbar.
She sailed through the air, landing against the wall. She looked up to see Artemis laying on the ground, a woman in a business suit standing over her with the crowbar.
"Good job, Mercy." a voice कहा from the shadows. "End her."
Courage unsheathed her gun and fired a few rounds at the woman.
The female dodged them with impossible moves.
"I remember now." she said, standing up. "You're that robot Aqualad mentioned."
Mercy's arm opened up revealing a gun.
"Although he didn't mention that." Courage said.
Mercy fired. Courage jumped behind a garbage can.
The weapon continued to आग until Courage heard a resounding WHACK! She looked cautiously around the corner to see Artemis with a crowbar, standing above the downed robot.
"Come out Luthor!" Courage yelled.
"Why let आप have all the fun?" Luthor asked.
Several और (regular looking) robots dropped down in front of the two girls.
Before either of the two could say something, the robots detonated, sending Courage into one दीवार and Artemis into another.
Courage groaned. She looked at her shredded jacket. It had protected her body from the majority of the blast, but was ruined now. She took it off. She looked up in time to see Mercy hauling away an unconscious Artemis.
"No!" she cried. She tried to get up, but her legs gave out underneath her, causing her to drop to the ground and watch as her friend was dragged away.

Now in the Charlie Brown spirit, Robin sat at the पियानो and started playing a couple notes.
"Do आप know any Charlie Brown songs?" Megan asked as Artemis sat beside Robin.
"Yeah, three, only one has lyrics though." Robin replied, turning the notes into a song.
"Christmas time is here, Happiness and cheer, Fun for all that children call, Their प्रिय time of the year" The teen added lyrics.
"Snowflakes in the air, Carols everywhere, Olden times and ancient rhymes, Of प्यार and dreams to share." Artemis continued.
"Sleigh bells in the air, Beauty everywhere, Yuletide द्वारा the fireside, And joyful memories there." Megan added sweetly.
"Christmas time is here, We'll be drawing near, Oh, that we could always see, Such spirit through the year, Oh, that we could always see, Such spirit through the year..." The three finished laughing. Wally walked in.
"You guys are good singers." He smirked.
"SHUT UP!"
"Do आप know any Charlie Brown songs?" Megan asked as Artemis sat beside Robin.
"Yeah, three, only one has lyrics though." Robin replied, turning the notes into a song.

Robin:
i decided to take a quick walk to get Artemis and Wally's yelling out of my head. there where little snowflakes falling and frost gathered on the ground, the harbor had a happy Christmasy feel to it, i walked द्वारा a little group of kids and they were singing.
"Dashing through the snow, in a pair of broken skis over the hills we go crashing into trees bam, bam, bam the snow is turning red i think i'm almost dead woke up in the hospital with stitches in my head" the song was odd but the kids were laughing, आप just had to smile, but then the kids went on to the सेकंड verse.
"Jingle bells, बैटमैन smells," WAIT WHAT?! my eyes widen
"Robin laid and egg," I glare and stomp up the sidewalk, but the kids are still singing
