Why do people hate Nex so much?

How did he become the most hated guy in the show? Even some of the villains are और beloved than him! And why do people still compare him to Riven? He's nothing like him. I've never seen so much hate for a main character in this show. What has he done to deserve it?

As for people comparing him with Riven,I must admit that at first I also thought that he was a copy of Riven but after rewatching season 6 I realized that he isn't.Nex was a jerk only to Roy because of the fact that he was his प्यार rival while Riven was a jerk to everyone and hated Sky for no valid reason.I like him much और than Riven.

I don't think Nex improved himself -- at least not as much as people think. I think he seems to have gotten better because Roy's gone. Think about it. The first time we met Nex, he was immediately thrown into a rivalry with a guy he didn't know, over a girl who he didn't have feelings for at first. That rivalry lasted most of the season, and to be fair -- and the प्रशंसकों aren't when it comes to him -- Roy not only started it but kept it going longer. Now that it's over, Nex can finally be himself. I think that's what we're seeing in season seven: his true self, which got overshadowed द्वारा the rivalry. Of course, the fanbase now has an संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर negative opinion of him, so they hate him no matter what he does. I think if Nickbow meant for him to be a likable character -- and based on things I've read, I think they did -- they really botched his introduction to the show.

I believe people only hate Nex is, because how his cockiness, smirks, and his bragging ways gets on many of the nerves. I mean... let's put Nex on Earth in our world. I think this is an exaggeration. For one thing, Nex isn't like that all the time. If anything, it was mainly in season six towards Roy, his rival. And what do आप mean he has no respect for others? That's not true. He's also very social, and he gets along well with the other characters. He teases a couple of them sometimes, but they don't dislike him. I think the fanbase pays और attention to Nex's flaws and occasional bad moments than to his संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर personality. He's been pigeonholed as an obnoxious jerk, but he's not supposed to be.

I agree with UnaDiNoiWinx I don't really understand why people प्यार Riven so much.I admit that I liked his character in season 1 because of his character development but in all the other season the writers felt the need to constantly repeat his jerk persona and Riven just became worse and worse which is the reason why I started to hate him.

Sometimes, I just don't प्रशंसकों like आप do, UnaDiNoiWinx. I don't understand why they should be treated differently. It is like the प्रशंसकों would rather prefer the other character for some reason.

Do आप know WHY आप prefer them over Nex? To be honest, I think most प्रशंसकों are just biased toward Nabu because he was a wizard, he was her FIRST boyfriend, and they miss him. I don't think it has much to do with Aisha. As for Roy, I personally don't understand why anyone took his relationship with her seriously. Most प्रशंसकों I talked to hated him and didn't want him to be with Aisha...until Nex showed up. Then suddenly he was "so perfect for her." -_- How about this: if Nabu and Roy had never existed, आप would have no one to compare Nex to (if we're talking about his relationship with Aisha). What would आप think of him then?
