Who is Negan and where exactly did he come from? ‘The Walking Dead’ fans are about to find out just that when the super villain’s origin is finally revealed.

Prepare to see a whole lot more of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the skull-bashing bad guy, Negan. The first page of Negan’s backstory and how he became who he is now on

has been released, and it is sure to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

comic book series is coming, and it focuses solely on Negan’s uprising. The issue, aptly titled “Here’s Negan,” is 48 pages long and will be told in 4-page increments inside

Even better? The very first page of Negan’s story has been released, as you can see above, and it looks like we might be going backwards since it appears he’s suiting up Lucille for battle.

In four different images, you can see Negan sitting next to a fire with his trusty bat in hand. Slowly but surely you can see him wrapping the bat in barbed wire, and once the trusty weapon is complete we close in on Negan’s terrifying eyes. Um, scary.

Now, I’m sure you’re all asking yourselves… will this be a part of season seven when

returns in late 2016? Our fingers are crossed, that’s for sure! Oh, and so are Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s.
