Everyone deserves respect for their opinions. Do you think we all should agree? What would be the point of these polls. Why is disliking something the same as hate? Hate is a strong word. I'm perfectly fine with people who are like "I don't like Stelena, therefore I probably won't like any of their scenes". It's people who are like "Stelena is so boring, annoying, stupid.. etc" that I call haters. You can state your opinion without saying anything rude or mean. And more often than not, people go with the second option. I understand that not everyone's going to like my ship, and I'm fine with that. But I don't get it when they go on and on, and feel like they need to list every reason why they don't (which usually don't consist of more than 'boring' and 'predictable'). All it does is get people who enjoy the ship that much more annoyed with them. Anyway, I've resigned myself to the fact that several people have that type of response to Stelena, so I've also resigned myself not to care about what others think and just watch the show. But I find it better to just accept that we are different. I just dont like the word haters. Because it is like saying people hate for the sake of hating. And that is not fair or respecting other opinions.. We are just different people with different views. So lets just respect eachother and rise above all name calling. It will make this a better spot to post. I think it is great that we like different couples. After all so what if I don't like them. In that case, I think the word "haters" would describe them. I mean, they even said so themselves. But regardless, I usually don't say two words to people when I have a different opinion from them, because I know we'll never see eye to eye. I only speak when provoked, or when I feel I have to stand up for myself (or friends, or ships, lol). To find them boring or dislike them is another thing. It is not hate. It is always important to stand up for oneself and friends. I think we all should try to respect one another.
