So, ever since the creation of one of my सवालों that was meant to sign up for a fighting मंच that will be available in some time, I have received a lot of questions. What’s the best way to address all the सवालों at once? An एफ ए क्यू sheet. So, here we go. If your सवाल isn’t in, just ask, and I’ll put it in. Also, this will include सवालों that I think will probably be asked, so I’ll just put them in here before the सवाल comes up.
What is a lethality?
Lethality is और like a right. आप have a license to kill, but that puts आप at risk of being killed.
So, does that mean my character will die?
Yes… and no. It will all depend. Firstly, both participants must have lethalities enabled. This can only be changed BEFORE entering the RPG, but I think I may have this changed depending on what आप would prefer. I’ll say something about what I mean later. Now, back to the question. If both characters have lethalities on, then the fight will still not be to the death. Both participants must first agree to have the fight be to the death. Otherwise, the fight will end upon KO, “first blood”, until the other participant cannot continue, या until the match is called. If the match is to the death, the other participant must not be able to continue any longer before the match, and someone’s life, can come to an end. If the match is decided to be lethal, आप cannot back out of it.
Can I use weapons?
Yes, आप can. However, bring what’s reasonable. Your character can’t possibly carry over nine-thousand Stinger rounds with the Stinger RPG launcher. Don’t even try. Pocket knife? Sure. Gadgets? If he/she can carry them, go ahead. Your character can also have a backpack to carry और stuff if he’s/she’s to bring it. Just note that there may या may not be बिना सोचे समझे happenings during the fights, which can consist of someone else entering the fight, a special या not-so-special but useful weapon entering the scene, something useful is revealed, या something else that may also happen.
So… does this mean that it’ll be a game of chance?
Some of it, yes. But that’s for the बिना सोचे समझे happenings that can/won’t help you. The rest is determined द्वारा how the fights are performed, who performs better, and what happens during the fight. Just note that we’ll (Tak and I) try our absolute best to pair up fights with REASONABLE opponents. That’s what the “Endurance” and “Strength” levels are for. With this in mind, that means that most fights, PvP fights that is, will be reasonably balanced. What does this mean? If one of the participants absolutely DESTROYS the other participant without good reason, then this because the fight was unreasonably unbalanced. Now, if you’re character is boss, and can take on several opponents at one time to make the match और balanced, then द्वारा all means, fight, so long as the fight is still balanced. If आप absolutely destroy an opponent and the fight WAS balanced, that means that आप are breaking the game, and may be punished accordingly. To respond to this… you’ll probably want to have Tak address this then me. Tak may give आप a warning. I’m already giving आप the warning. Now, this doesn’t mean आप can’t win, but just that आप can’t just rape (gaming term in this context, meaning “to utterly defeat an opponent in any kind of competitive activity”) your opponent. In a nutshell, don’t break the game, unless you’re looking आगे to some kind of remuneration. And in case if I’m giving off the wrong message I won’t be cruel with the punishment. At least not in the way I see it.
Can I use magic?
Sure. But depending on how powerful that magic is, your character’s strength level will rise to prevent what was previously mentioned.
When can I use my lethality?
When either the other participant calls the match या one of the GMs (Tak and/or I) call the match. No, we won’t use favoritism; no we aren’t basing the decisions off anything but performance. The match, if it comes down to it, will be decided द्वारा who fought better according to the judge (that’s the GM overseeing the match). I know that at least some controversy about this will come up, and in advance, I say that we will base the decision on who fought better. That’s all there is to it. Read it and weep.
How long will each fight be?
This will depend on how much fight each character has in them. However, according to how much they can take, their endurance; compared to how much they can deal, their strength; that’s how long each character will last. No, we won’t pull out the thick-rimmed glasses and the twenty-sided die with a double coin flip and an Irish jig to calculate EXACTLY how long your character can last in X fight. It’s an approximation; and estimate if आप will. It’s not exact, but it comes close. However, again, we’re going to try to pair up reasonable fights according to the strength and endurance numbers/ranges so that the fights aren’t just one-sided.
Can I enter multiple characters?
Yes, आप can. There’s no specific to how many characters आप can have, so long as both sides of the battle agree to fight those characters. One side doesn’t have to fight all your characters in the same battle, since one of your characters can be in a completely different area than another. It’s not like there can’t be two या और competitors fighting from the same home. I will advise आप that for every character आप bring in, आप will have to fill out an entry form for each one. So, please, for simplicity reasons don’t bring in a brigade. Please, for the sake of us all just don’t.
What rules will tournament fights have?
It depends on the fight: who is fighting (PvE), and what’s going on. Maybe even a बिना सोचे समझे happening will change the rules, but that’ll depend on what happens. Like… the fight doesn’t allow for weapons on the character, but the crowd starts throwing things at the participants, and… आप get the idea. Most of the time, however, they’ll be pretty consistent. I believe.
If I’m absent, and can’t connect to the internet to post, what’s going to happen?
आप know me. I’ll find a way to cover it up; Tak या me. It’ll have to depend on why you’re absent too. Just forgot? That’s fine. We aren’t perfect, and I know that. We’ll remind आप to post. If आप let us know you’ll be absent ahead of time, that’s a lot और bearable, because we know why, and can plan ahead of time as to how we’re going to cover it up. However, life happens, I know that all too well. SO, if something comes up, and आप can’t connect to post, we can understand that. When आप return, that is. It may be harder to cover up, but we’ll find a way. Just… try not to be out too long. Think of the children, please.
What is a बिना सोचे समझे happening?
A spontaneous event that happens randomly, but has at least some sense behind it. This can be a landslide, a falling tree, a surge of water from a river, etc, etc. Will I tell आप how बिना सोचे समझे happenings occur? Ha, no. They wouldn’t be बिना सोचे समझे anymore if I did, now would they?
Why wasn’t my सवाल addressed?
Probably because I forgot about it, या never caught your question. Whatsoever the case, आप comment, and I’ll see if I can add it. Just try to remember that only so much can be crammed into a single article, so this can’t be too, long. This लेख was nearing its third page, and one of my stories was cut off at around page ten, so we’re good for now, but just to point that out. Feel free to ask any questions.
