I love that version of the film! I haven't watched it in quite a while, but I'd enjoy doing that again.
The character of Ichabod in this TV show is far more serious, but that certainly isn't a bad thing. At first I couldn't imagine any decent TV show being created out of the 'Sleepy Hollow' tale. To tell the truth, I wasn't even sure if I was going to watch it, but I figured I'd give it a chance ...and I'm certainly glad I did! After viewing the 1st episode, I can definitely say "I'm hooked". It was very impressive all the way around. I just hope the story, acting and production values remain as good throughout the remainder of the show.
...and that the FOX network gives it a 'real' chance! ;)
