I choose hearing because sound is more important than seeing. Sound is an amazing beautiful thing. If you go to a park and just sit there with your eyes closed you will understand what im saying. You would never hear the sound of running water, of music, of small children laughing, the sound of the people you love breathing. Sound also enhances the other senses. Who needs sight when you can feel. Feel the bark on trees, the smoothness of someones skin, sand slipping through your fingers. Also if you cant see you cant judge people by their looks. You have to search their souls to "see" who they really are instead of just looking at someone, seeing they are skinny and pretty, and automatically think they are better than you. Or seeing someone who is fat and ugly and thinking that they are gay and "uncool". Dont get me wrong i do value my sight, but i value my hearing alot more. Being blind or deaf would be horrible. I have a blind friend and he wishes he could see everyday. But he isn't depressed or sad or anything like that. And when he is and he desprately wishes he could see, i sit with him and explain what trees look like, what i look like, what the sky looks like. So thats why i choose hearing. I hope you can understand why i did now that i have explained.
