Thoughts on the police?

Well nobody's perfect. There ARE quite a few people who take advantage of being an officer of the law and all, but I think that the majority of the police really do try their best to protect as and all but sometimes look like the bad guy while doing it.

Well police over in England have killed innocents with tazers, one of those innocents was an old man... I think he was around 70

this is thanks to the mainly the media... आप see the majority of police officers are good guys just trying to do there job... but आप never hear about them on the news... आप only hear about the ones that are bad या corrupt या have done something wrong... this just paints a bad picture for them... being a police officer is hard, and we shouldn't hate them for doing their jobs... people sue police officers a lot thanks to the fact that they think that didn't do something wrong, when the majority of the time, they are at fault...

99% of police officers are hard working men and women who are over worked, under paid and under appreciated, having to deal with the worse dregs of society (plus some pretty terrible paper work) on a daily basis to make the world a better and safer place.

I know that there are some cops that are trustworthy, but I don't trust ALL of em.

It would be dumb to blindly trust someone just cuz they LOOK like a "good guy". But also, I know I can't just "shut them out" like that, so I try to be positive and hope that I can trust the one cop I come into contact with.

I've never met one in person, so...yeah.

City police are assholes. Like, straight up asses. There was this one time when my mom got pulled ove r for speeding (for 3 MPS OVER THE SPEED LIMIT!) and it was SUPER hot outside. He acted like he had his G-string up his ass. Also, It takes them FOREVER to get to where आप are.

Then there's the police in the suburbs. They're SOOO much better than the city police. They're polite, and whenever there's trouble, they're there in like, 2.5 seconds!

But police are police. They do their job regardless. >.> I would rather just handle the situation myself though.

I don't really know any but from what I've heard in the papers and on the news, in Canada where I live, they are useless and are complete jerks. If someone has committed murder they can somehow get a way with it and the police won't look into it. I don't get it. They are supposed to 'protect and serve', what a load of crap.

I know not all police are bad but some take advantage and are corrupt
All of the police where I'm at are corrupt
Its a small town so there's nothing anyone can do about it
The police chief tried buying a small house अगला to his, the owner was renting it out and कहा no, so he burned it down

There was no investigation and now his yard is twice the size it was, he built a गेराज in the back
everyone knows he did it and hes told a few people he did

At the same time there's always the few who are exemplary officers but... its just not that often

i do not like the police at all -_-

Police can take stuff too far sometimes. But where I am I like the police ^_^ I can't speak for everywhere else though.

My देखा गया are a little mixed.
Because of my mother, who was arrested all the time and called the police on me many times (for things like trying to leave the house in clothes she didn't like) i have met many cops.
Some are absolute idiotic, biased jerks who stereotype people , like thinking teenagers are all trouble makers, and sobbing women really are victims instead of pretending. My mother actually hit my stepdad in front of some officers, and they did nothing.
Some are just too jaded to care anymore.
But i've also met some genuinely nice officers who were concerned with my safety and welfare, like even stopping me and asking if i was ok since they last saw me. They would not have become cops if they didn't want to help people. I'm thankful that they risk their lives to protect total strangers.
