How do I tell my family that card collecting has value? Please help!!!

Once I was going to spend twenty dollars for about 70 Yu Gi Oh cards. My family कहा that its a waste but they don't know that certain cards have और value and can be sold for और money to a good buyer. Please help, its a hobby I प्यार but they hate. Please help!
