Help, please?

I'm making a film based on a short story that I wrote (its not really short, but its shorter than most novels). In it, there is a scene where the cupboard catches on fire. Now, we CAN NOT CATCH A CUPBOARD IN ONE OF OUR HOUSES ON FIRE! How else can we shoot this scene??

umm... I'm no professional filmer या what ever and I know there will be tons of टिप्पणियाँ disagreeing with my ideas but आप can maybe spray some paint on the cupboard red like आग then use a editing program like iMovie या something to start a fake आग
