Yesterday was a bit of a One Direction extravaganza really, with new album titles and artwork arriving on the internet, plus a hot diggity damn show at The Roundhouse as part of Apple Music Festival. Yup, Tuesday 22nd September was seriously 1D af.

As well as all that joy, the boys also released a never-before-heard album track from Made In The AM called \'Infinity\', and the fandom theories about it are already underway. Could the lyrics to this one actually be about Zayn Malik?

We guessed straight away that \'Made In The AM\' could actually be a reference to \'After Malik\' or \'Aftermath\', but some fans reckon that the emosh lyrics from the boys\' new ballad could be about Zaynypops too.

So if we\'re going to do this properly and professionally, here\'s Exhibit A in a fancy box for you.

And now I\'m one step closer to being, Two steps farther from you, When everybody wants you, Everybody wants you.

Sure, you could take that as the standard, smushy love song thing of missing someone and everyone else wanting them – but you could also take that as Zayn being constantly in demand from a huge selection of artists since leaving 1D. As he gets further away from the boys, everybody from Chris Brown to Drake wants to work with him. Right? Right. NEXT.

How many nights have you wished someone would stay? Lied awake only hoping they\'re okay?

Well this one speaks for itself, really. Yeah okay, so it might be about wishing you could stay in a relationship, but if you\'re emotionally unstable like us, you could also take it as the boys wishing that Zayn would stay with them in the band, lying awake after he\'d gone just hoping that he\'d be okay on his own.

We\'re struggling to remember why we thought it was a good idea to get so involved in this theory, it HURTS. That\'s enough

thought provoking lyrical analysis for one day, everybody. Let\'s go and listen to \'Infinity\' again.
