On September 28, 2007, two notes written with Latin characters stating "Watashi wa Kira desu" (わたしわきらです, meaning "I am Kira" in Japanese) were found near the unidentified remains of a Caucasian male in Belgium. Nothing was found on या near the victim besides these two notes.[90] A senior at the Franklin Military Academy in Richmond, Virginia, United States was suspended after being caught possessing a replica "Death Note" notebook with the names of fellow students.[91]

The हीरोस go without parade, the only reward

Being death द्वारा a pen deadlier than swords.

A letter, a cake, a चॉकलेट bar,

Cigarettes strewn before the जाम jar...

Nothing और stands in remembrance of them:

The heroes, then children, forced to be men.

Death was their solace, their ultimate goal

But was justice worth the cost of a soul?

The boy in white sits alone at his shrine.

He can't predict where his loyalties align,

So he looks to the trinkets left from his friends

Who gave up their lives in untimely ends.

He is their legacy, alone bearing the pain.

For them he has दिया his...
