In 2006, Jackson attended several awards and honors. The first was the tribute held in May 2006 on एमटीवी Japan, for the award of the Video संगीत Awards जापान '06. In this award, Jackson received the Legend Award - rarely designed to somebody - because of his being a male artist international best-selling in Japan, a legend of music. The press in general has made a huge emphasis on this event, due to the fact that it was the first public appearance since his acquittal Jackson made out of his seclusion in Bahrain.
