ok, so this involves 3 people. A girl, who we'll call Stacy, a boy we'll call Dallas, and another girl we'll call Ruby.

So Ruby had liked this guy, Dallas, for a long time, but Stacy, one of her good friends, also liked him. And Stacy was very open with the fact that she liked him and often complained to Ruby about how difficult it was for him not to like her back.
