एल जी बी टी सवाल

"When are आप going to tell your parents that you're straight?" I don't get that quote. Explain?

Obviously, it's about coming out, from the POV of someone who's LGBTQ, but I don't understand exactly what the sign is about. Like, what is it trying to say?

Perhaps the ever sexy and awesome John Barrowman can help elaborate on this point:

“My parents have always brought us up to believe that sex and sexuality are something to be proud of, and आप don't have to flaunt it if आप don't want to. People don't walk around with a banner saying they're straight, so why should I walk around with one saying I'm gay? I understand there are people who want to and need to make that statement, and I appreciate that, but don't come down on me because I'm not one of them.”

I think it's supposed to mean '' Straight people don't need to go through '' comming out '' because parents automatically ASSUME their children will be straight ''.

It's all about Assumption I think and how it's wrong to Assume that?

Well, that's what I got from it, it's a poorly executed sign though.

thats not always true gagaboi i knew 2 of my children were gay i think before they did लोल what hurt me the most was they were so nervous about coming out to me,when i asked them why they were they both told me that it me that made them nervous they knew i would stand द्वारा them no matter what but that it felt like screaming it out to the world it finalized it in a way and they were just scared in general

My mom knew I was gay long before I hit puberty, but yeah, too many people assume their kids are straight. And r-pattz, I have no idea why that is either.

Because it's like saying to a gay person, "When are आप going to tell your parents that you're gay?"

I personally hate the whole idea of "coming out of the closet", because straight people don't have to do it, so why should we?

because people are always asking people of the LGBTQ community when they're going to tell their parents they're gay/lesbian, and it's not right, beause straight people don't have to tell they're parents. its unfair how parent assume you're going to be straight

when i saw this question, it kind of made me feel uncomfortable, maybe that's how gay people feel when people ask them that and they just want us to feel what they're feeling.

although, those सवालों might annoy them they might be kind of nesessary, because एल जी बी टी is not really a norm its sort of different and out of the ordinary as the higher percentage of ppl r straight, या maybe ppl just havent come out about it

the thing about flaunting is rude and unecessary

why isnt it the norm? its plently normal to be gay, many people are. many people to the point there might be as many gay people as there is straight. and yeah it is unnessary to be asked not to "flaunt" about being straight, but knowyou know how it feels to not be accepted about your sexuality because it is seen as "unnormal"

I hate that people use the excuse that being straight is natural but द्वारा being homosexual its some kind of "genetic" mutation या some that was INFLUENCED. being straight is just as natural as being gay, just ignorant people have been telling people lies all these years stateing it isn't something natural and possibly is genetically mutated या that the only reason people are epressing gayness is because it was "learned" from other gay people. its like saying being gay is a CHOICE, and no in fact its not. i am not a genetic mutant because i am just the same as a staight woman, and if आप where to argue against me then that must mean आप believe that being straight is a mutation and was influenced द्वारा other straight people. I think they are saying that द्वारा being gay आप have to "come out" about it when people should just not worry about wether they are gay या straight. their people. we are people. (unless your in fact, a goldfish) And whos to say straight people where here first? what if everyone was bisexual? so i could say यूनिकॉर्न exsisted in the beginning of time and आप would have to assume so, and आप would be like "well wheres your evidence?" and i would reply "well where is YOUR evidence that god exsisted या hated gays या where is the facts that everyone was straight until this "mutation" came along?" and the answer आप would give me is...what? the bible? do आप know who wrote the bible? have आप had the technology to prove all humans in the beginng where straight? no. आप dont. so eh. im sorry if i went overboard. im REALLY HYPER. :/

at my new school they were talking about that (all girls school too, awesome right? No.) and they were saying there was a gene that makes people that way and I'm like ._. tell my dad that and he may put me and my sister up for adoption. But then they went on saying that they didn't care of someone was gay या not. प्यार is love. So हे its all good!
