Translation of a new Lisa interview with an Italian mag 

I’m not going to translate everything since it would take too long. Basically the introduction goes like fans are usually the ones to ship tv-show couples but sometimes actors do it too. Lisa Edelstein for one. She says she’d really much like House and Cuddy to go deeper and explore their mutual feelings. And here are Lisa’s words:
‘I’d very much like an overly passionate love scene between House and Cuddy. Actually we already kind of got one at the end of Season 5 but then it turned out to be a hallucination. It’d be really interesting if they got into something deeper with each other’. Lisa, however, sets the record straight and explains that her suggestion is not a result of a crush for her co-star Hugh Laurie. ‘He’s very handsome but he’s married and we’re nothing but true great friends. That’s why we felt so at ease with each other when we had to make out in front of the cameras. Actually to be honest Hugh told me he found it a bit odd to get so intimate but it didn’t feel that way to me at all! As an actor you have to draw a line between the character you’re playing and what you are in real life. Professionally speaking, I think a relationship between House and Cuddy would spice things up. The writers, however, have a different take when it comes to this. They’re against any abrupt change lest it would disrupt the storyline. House deals with unhappy wrecked characters constantly grappling with their lives. A happily-ever-after relationship would clash with the overall downcast mood’.

Ok this is the main part. Then she goes off on stuff we already know like both her and Hugh’s father being doctors and what she thinks is the key to House success. There is also a snatch where she says exactly the same things we heard on that ‘Mediaset interview’ which was posted on Lisa’s spot a few days back (the one where she says she’s a sassy girl and she likes pushing the envelope for people…). This leads me to think it all stems from the same press conference and that this interview wasn’t one-on-one either. If this is the case then we should take this interview with a pinch of salt as we did for the Huli snippets I posted earlier since it might too have gone through some altering from the journalist. Namely at the press conference Lisa was asked a number of questions, each journalist took their own bits from her answers and turned her words around with translation.
Sorry if this is not accurate but I didn’t have much time and so I was forced to rush things…bear with me and if you have any questions just bounce them off me, ok? ;-)

This one was A LOT more wordy. Well she says they're nothing but great friends..and if that's coming from HER, the one who always makes it seem like more..well then it's a lot more affective and believable. I still don't wanna believe it though haha.

"As an actor you have to draw a line between the character you’re playing and what you are in real life." And not exactly sure what she means by this. I suppose it's saying they have to allow the fans to realize this too.

Honestly I think we shouldn't get too much out of these interviews...as I said it all comes from the same press conference and every journalist seems to have translated the same sentence in a different way so it's hard to say what is what! To tell you the truth the first one I posted in here seemed to me the closest one to what Lisa'd say basing off on what she already said in the past! What do you think?
As for the 'drawing a line..' line it's the same in Italian it didn't make much sense to me either it sort of was out of context. Again maybe it's taken from a longer answer...aaaaah I so wish we got hold of Lisa's actual words!!!!

if there's nothing going on, why does she feel like she needs to point that out? XD
