I knew it was coming, this day. This दिन where the pilfered garbage known to much of the world as the Twilight saga would beat out all the other franchises, including Batman, Lord of the Rings, and, of course, our fandom of Harry Potter. According to a recently published Yahoo article, New Moon is accounting for 94% of Fandango and Movieticket.com's ticket sales as of now. This is highly disturbing, दिखा रहा है that humanity cannot even recognize good literature and film even when its presented to them on a silver platter, these of course being Harry Potter, the Dark Knight, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy who have all now sunk in pre-sale ticket rankings.

Thus, when the time rolls around in October 2010 when presumably the pre-sale tickets for Deathly Hallows: Part 1 will be available, I urge आप to purchase them! Encourage your friends, family, and loved ones. Even those who have just thought about getting into the series, make sure they go. I will not stand for these atrocious Twilight films becoming number one for many reasons which I'm sure many of आप are very familiar with. Let's दिखाना those ignorant masses that our fandom is a force that they cannot toss aside. Let it be known that true literary genius will beat out the plotless, lifeless novels of Meyer any day. Fellow fans, when the time comes, represent your fandom. I know we can दिखाना them in a classy manner that Harry Potter will never die.

Mrs-Grint Of course!! I've already arranged it with friends, I'm gonna try as hard as humanly possible to see it on the opening day. Of course, I'll book tickets. Heck! I'll even book tickets for my friends if I have too. WE NEED TO FIGHT BACK!! Peace.

ChocAttack266 Okay, you guys can hate me if you want. Personally I can understand if the Twitlight fandom wins out in the movie area of things, because the Harry Potter books are VASTLY superior to the movies, and I can absolutely identify with the many fans that dislike the films for the increasingly major deviations from the main book plotline. Twitlight, on the other hand, is a crap book series with fans that can't tell good writing from a story that belongs on fanfiction.net rather than bookshelves. So, the movies would be on the same level to the books, and the Twitards (that are labouring under the delusion that their books are the best thing since sliced bread) would thus appreciate the movies. Also, knowing how they are, they wouldn't care if the acting is bad or the movie deviates from the plot, *assumes disillusioned falsetto Twitard voice* "because, like, Edward and Jake are, like, soooooooo hot!!" *gags and assumes normal voice* I'm not saying that we should LET them win out. I'm just saying that I can (to a certain extent) understand why the movies are getting such high ratings. Still: Twilight is a fad. Already, due to there being no more books, the fad is passing over. Sure, it'll be rekindled when the Eclipse and Breaking Dawn movies come out, but I am ninety per cent sure that it won't last long when the movie craze is over: people will wake up, slap themselves and think, "What the HELL was wrong with me?" So don't stress too much about the current ratings.

shieldmaiden haha I LOVED your response! awesome! I just want to make sure that it doesn't beat out ALL HP films, because that'd just be sad. However considering another crap movie, *cough*Avatar*cough* just beat out everything ever created, I don't care as much anymore. :) I'll be glad when Twilight is just a blurred memory of the past, HP is here to stay!
