I love buying cheap(ish) bags, because then I can buy new ones ALOT, and not feel guilty about it! :D

Cheapie cause although designer bags tend to be nicer they are wayy to expensive .. but i wouldn't buy a really cheap bag .. it would have to be a reasonable price x

I tend to go for cheap-ish too as I can have lots of different ones!

I've never seen the point in spending $5000 on a bag.

Who gives a crap about the designer?! Frankly most of the time I don't want to walk around with anyone's name or logo plastered all over my bag, clothes, etc., unless it's a brand I really love. Most of the time I don't even care for the way they look! Is the quality REALLY that much higher, that the ridiculous cost would be worth it because the bag will last a lot longer? I say, just take care of your bag and it'll probably serve you every bit as well as a pricier one in every way...

It depends, there are some great bags that are not very expensive, that are fashionable without being trendy. However, I am partial to vintage designer bags. I only buy designer bags if I can afford them. The designer bags that I have, I plan to give to my daughter some day. She is young but is learning- she is a girly girl and loves bags/purses. I don't buy for the brand/logo I buy for the workmanship and the quality. Great handbags are great buys in the long run because most get better as they age if you care for them.

Buying quality is economical as they tend to be durable buy cheap staff is expensive in the long run.

Look I sell handbags and I find that people ask me for designer replicas more than the trendy fashion handbags. I personally like all handbags, that's why I started selling them.
