When Halsey plays Agganis Arena in Boston next week (August 12), chances are some in the crowd will recognize their ex sitting somewhere across the way. Boston’s a small city, this shit happens. It’s unavoidable and inevitable.

Luckily, New York dance duo The Chainsmokers have teamed up with the “New Americana” singer for a very necessary Public Service Announcement on dealing with your ex.

The tl;dr version: Don’t even talk to that person. The extended version: The trio’s dope new track “Closer”, which recently got the lyric video treatment — so the message truly resonates.
