on Facebook tonight was a spectacular affair loaded with treats for fans, packed with cast members and interviews on the carpet, and capped off with a

new behind-the-scenes video featuring the stunts of season 5. The featurette offers commentary from Rowley Irlam, the show’s stunt coordinator, and never-before-seen footage of fight sequences being created. Feast your eyes on the Sand Snakes in action and the glimpses of Hardhome in this new clip:

Most of the show’s stars stopped to chat with the hosts and offers a few tidbits. Here are some of the highlights:

George R.R. Martin regales the audience with the story of how one overeager fan actually tried to cut off a piece of his hair for a keepsake. But Martin reassures us that,”99.9% of the fans are great. You all dream of having a fanbase like this.” When asked about which region he prefers, the author says, “I’ll always be a Northman at heart. I like the cold more than the heat.” He also teases, “There are some locations we haven’t seen yet” that he is looking forward to writing about, including Casterly Rock and Highgarden.

When the host inquires if Dany is ready to take the throne, Emilia Clarke says with a grin, “Dany is getting closer with

Finn Jones confesses that he has read fanfic- and cites not a Renly/Loras story, but one about Finn and Gethin Anthony. He says the fanfic involved the two of them massaging one another with pizza.

Nathalie Emmanuel says of the many languages Missandei speaks each season, “David J. Peterson is a genius, and he sends me recordings of each word, every phrase [in these other languages], to help me out.” Emmanuel acknowledges that it has gotten easier each year, and mentions that Missandei speaks 19 languages.

Dean-Charles Chapman reveals in his interview that- begin rioting, book fans! – there will be no Ser Pounce sightings in season 5.

Sophie Turner acknowledged that Sansa is going “through her Goth phase” at the moment.

Executive producer David Benioff admits that he’s on anti-anxiety medication after working on the show, and also that the cast is “a huge drinking cast.”

That Hardhome info some random person posted here is wrong? Besides all the Tormund stuff in this video that matches up, he said “we’ve got guys jumping off cliffs” which matches up completely with what that person said. So are we positive that info is wrong?

As for the photo’s posted, what stands out for me is how Sophie made much more of an effort for this premier then for the London one. Not to be harsh or anything, but she seemed to be less prepaired for the London premier, but it could’ve been the wind. As for which photo looks best, it’s got to be Hannah’s. So much natural beauty you don’t see when she’s “Gillyfied”..

And Peter actually looks more like Tyrion here then in the shots we’ve seen from the trailer.. -.-

The problem is there was more than one person posting Hardhome spoilers, whether they were fake or real. Some of them may have been real- but then others came along and added to them and people assumed it was the same person, and all one spoiler.

Michiel Huisman is one handsome devil. I can understand Dany’s infatuation with him much more so than the greaseball from the books.

Benioff didn’t say he’s on anti anxiety meds, he said that before they started working on the show he never needed one to help him sleep.

There are three separate hardholme “spoilers” from reddit, two of them have been confirmed wrong one has not, don’t conflate the three!

the one that is not yet proven false is the one that has the Night’s King resurrecting white walkers (sic* it’s probably wights) after some wildlings are driven off a cliff.

The other spoilers about Tormund dying, Jon getting stabbed etc were added after by a different user and are probably made up.

Something about the cut of Huisman’s outfit reminds me of when Michael Scott came into the Office wearing a woman’s suit.

Random question: do cast members get their travel and accommodation costs paid for by production when they attend these things? I travel a lot for work and usually my clients foot the bill, I wonder if it’s the same for them? These things cost a bomb and some of these people aren’t exactly billionaires…

On topic: too much eye candy, cannot handle, don’t know who I’d tear the clothes off first (and I agree this must be Michiel’s approach to dressing).

what a disapointment this video, I’m starting to think these will be the only big fight scenes we will have this season, and I was still hoping to see Stannis in action, but then again.. They surprised us with Brienne vs The hound last year so there might still be some light.

I’ve been watching the stunt video and I’m a bit confused…

Why are both Daario and Jorah reharsing a fight in the Dorne’s courtyard? It seems to me the set is the same showed later in the video, when we havethe Sand Snakes fighting the guy with the yellow dress.

You can usually see who they are supposed to be by the overall get-up, the weapons and the way they fight. Those in 00:25 fight like gladiators, pit fighters, for the slave auction or Daznak’s Pit in Meereeen. No Stark soldiers, sorry

They won’t show us every fight in the promotional materials, don’t worry. And even if they had, judging by what we know of how much time and money the Hardhome and Daznak’s Pit set-pieces took to film, they’ve shown us

Oh, and don’t worry about Stannis fighting this season:

There were some videos for the GoT exhibition in which the characters congratulated you for pledging allegiance to their House. They were all filmed during production —the actors were all in character, in costume, in whatever sets they were shooting at.

What about Stannis, then? He was wearing his battle armor, with blood makeup all over his face, and in the background there were snowy woods. So, Stannis

fight, in the snow. Also, in the second trailer we see the snowed-in Baratheon encampment in flames, something new that I can’t yet figure out how it fits within Stannis’ story this season —but I’m certain it’s the Baratheon camp. In conclusion, Stannis is gonna kick some ass.

Yeah, Finn is much more into R(eal)P(eople)S(lash) than one would imagine. He even showed it to poor innocent Gethin once IIRC. He’s looking nice and proper (for once) in that blue suit too.

Clarice is super chic. Not sure about Gwen’s outfits lately. Aiden looks always creepy to me, no matter what. Love ‘Hodor’s’ hairdo.

Who else thinks it’s kinda funny that we’re in awe like:

we ever saw of the show or the books, in the prologue? I know —not the same, since in this case Jon and other characters we care about will be present. Still, it’s kinda funny.

Osuna, where Daznak’s Pit was filmed and where Daario and Jorah belong, is

close to the city of Seville, where they shot the Water Gardens of Dorne. In fact, Osuna is within the Province of Seville, and there’re only 100 km between the city of Seville and Osuna. Presumably, the Osuna arena wasn’t yet ready, or maybe they wanted to train them all together. One thing is for certain —Daario and Jorah won’t suddenly teleport from Meereen to Dorne.

Yeah I know judging by the size of those scenes and how long they took to film I believe we will have some big surprises. It took them longer to film than the battle at the wall so it will probably blow our minds away I hope. As for that Stannis video I saw it when it came out, and by then I was really hoping we were going to see him kicking some ass, now my opinion is divided, we might see him fight, or we just might see some aftermath of the battle. I would really love to see him fighting Roose Bolton, Ramsay I would leave him for Jon.

Maybe not in terms of action thrills, but story-wise the fact that Stannis is

going to enter into battle this season is huge in and of itself, whether we get to actually see it happening or not. And will we? I think so; it’s the kind of thing the show never skips, especially with the current budget, and Stannis needs a climax for his arc this season. However, I don’t have any direct evidence.

Whoa, Gilly’s actor is pretty. Initially thought that was the new Myrcella or something.

I think this confirms that Finn is not the actor D&D mentioned at the Oxford conference because he would not just pop there if there was any kind of tension between him and David and Dan. I don’t want to bring that debate here, as I think it was already heavily discussed in the other page, but I wanted to point out this fact.

00:25 – Pit fighters. They fight like gladiators, not knights; and the stuntmen chose similar helmets, shields and weapons as those used by the pit fighters in the trailers. They are not Westerosi.

The first info was (supposedly) leaked before the second, fake, info. The faker was probably aware of the first (supposed) leak.
