What do I need to get started playing D&D?

well i know someone who played alone as the dungeonmaster and a player but i suggest आप and your brother make a team and get some one to be the dungeon master . if not thats okay आप guys can switch who's the dungeon master as आप play now आप will need a players hand book monster manuel and dice twenty sided ones eight sided ones four sided one weird i know six sided ones and many kinds let me just warn आप dungeons and ड्रॅगन्स isnt always cheap your going to have to experiment with your budget start with a module for level one and be creative last thing at the back of the players manuel is pages called charecter sheets print them out and fill them up the long boring way if आप just want easier fun not so hardcore just make up some stuff when i was younger that was how we played good luck and happy playing

Depends,if Role playing then d&d roleplaying starter set and if minature game...well just start buying dice,maps, and minatures
