And about why she wanted to erase her memories of Damon: She had no hope of him coming back, and using drugs to hallucinate him (what she did for 4 months) was hurting other people, which she couldn't bare. I also noticed that right after Elena asks Damon why he invited her to dance with him and he जवाब "because I'm a great dancer and it would be a shame not to share it with the world" (I don't remember the quote that well) the lyrics of the song in the background are "I told आप the world and I knew it was a lie". It is emotionally tough to भालू that we weren’t shown a moment when Delena were a couple, happy, together and at peace for a whole season now (including the summer break and all other pauses); ever since they lay together on the सोफ़ा, सोफे in 5x06. They had several reunions but those were short and DE either had to deal with issues in their relationship या the dangers and obstacles were already waiting close by. But even when they had to go through all of that and we weren’t shown any peaceful moments of happiness, there were none the less so many beautiful moments and all of the wonderful hints, signs and parallels that make us happy and still let us endure all of the drama, angst and pain. एक साल  से अधिक पुराना

Well he's not dead...he got stripped of his magic and was saved in time. At least, that's what I understood. But it's still confusing...since the no-magic zone should break compulsion. I don’t know where these theories were elsewhere discussed and I only found this linknow, but I remember us speaking about that issue on this wall, too. Yeah, please, vote for him and them, and Ian really is awesome and perfect and deserves to win! But it is a good thing that Damon is so complicated, deep and complex that Ian is the only actor that is in every single episode and has only one character – but with lots of different sides so that it is in a way already like playing different characters. Like Damon tried to “prove” (to himself and the others) before how bad he was, Elena now tries to “prove” (to herself and the others) that she doesn’t प्यार Damon. And like Damon couldn’t pretend forever to be a monster, because he really has a good heart, Elena can’t deny her real feelings for long, because she truly loves Damon. Even when we don’t like their decisions and their actions, we understand the reasons for those. While Damon was confronted with his biggest fear without having much self-esteem, Elena now isn’t her true self because a huge and important part of her is deactivated. Nothing that she creates for herself now when it comes to emotions is real, because Elena is not complete at the moment. I loved the Defan scene at the end! They didn’t get a “goodbye” at the end of S5, so that I am even happier now about an emotional reunion. It is only unfortunate that Stefan again doesn’t get the chance to deal with problems, because he once और gets what he wants and needs when he finally stopped running and pretending and was ready to face reality. But I am truly happy about at least this short moment of happiness before Stefan will get back to working on his life while Damon has to deal with the “Elena issue” and his “Bonnie guilt”. I'm thinking that damon comes back in this episode because ian पोस्टेड a चित्र of him on set and it looks exactly where they are in the photos. I'm seriously so Freakin done with these damn writers, it's the same crap over and over again with elena. Every storyline with her she's like losing who she is..... I miss the old Elena when she didn't take every easy way out and wasn't getting her head messed with. The only things entertaining me this season are Damon and Bonnie's friendship and Caroline. Everything else is crap. Elena's being annoying and not herself and that stupid new guy, like there's not enough things to be pissed off about:/ Stefan's being the biggest Dick Ever!! and all the other characters are just blahh. We got the dark phases in the सेकंड half of the last seasons, and it is harder to handle when people are still in the process of adjusting to new storylines, people, places etc. and of getting into the “watching TVD mood” after months without it. But having such a phase that early gives me hope for what will come later in the season, and we should hold on to the inevitable pay-off for all of the suffering and emotional darkness right now. I don’t “feel it” at the moment and can get easier through my Fridays at work, while I before was nervous all दिन and couldn’t wait to get back घर to find out what happened. I somehow only wait for the big reunion, but I can none the less enjoy what I still like and haven’t लॉस्ट my optimism. I expect Damon and Bonnie to talk about Damon, Elena and Delena, even people in the “real world” saying something beautiful from time to time and Elena’s emotions/ memories/ whatever trying to get through to the surface. एक साल  से अधिक पुराना

6.02 seemed alright for DE though I hated the ending. I loved that they showed all those legendary DE scenes aka flashbacks from the past Seasons; 1.19, 3.01, 3.10, 3.19, 3.22 n 5.02 except 2.01. Honestly, it sucks like hell that Elena doesn’t remember now what happened between her n Damon in S3, S4 n S5, all she remembers is hating him. We've answered that सवाल numerous times. When Alaric compelled her to forget that moment she realized she loved him, it caused a domino effect, which made her forget everything else. We don't know how exactly every moment was altered, and what does she remember या not, but, basically, with all her good memories of Damon gone away या at least modified, there is nothing to modify the bad moments which, make no mistake, were pretty bad. एक साल  से अधिक पुराना

Again, falling in प्यार is a process and this was only the moment when Elena realized that she loved Damon. I get that the suffering and hopelessness became too much for Elena to handle, but I understand that people get mad at her through the way in which everything is presented, which is very selfish, self-centered and self-fixated. For example “so, if I’m ever gonna to be able to fall in प्यार again”, “for my own survival”, “if आप [I] feel any hope for the future at all, then, you’re [I’m] already better off”, “I want आप [me] to be happy” and so on. No, not at all. Alaric explained to her in the beginning of the episode that when he compels her to forget that pivotal moment Elena realized she loved Damon, it will cause a domino effect, and basically she will forget she ever loved him. We still don't know all the details of what she remembers and what she doesn't, but I'm guessing what happened is that all of her good memories of him are erased, and now there is nothing to balance all the bad moments, and all the hurt he caused her. Basically, she remembers only the bad parts of their relationship. But I might be wrong. एक साल  से अधिक पुराना
