Before reading the rumors I was certain they wouldn't. Even if I wanted them to kiss in the finale, I was ok with waiting until season 3.
But I am believing the rumor. So now I will be disappointed if they don't kiss.

Of course! I'll be angry if they don't.

Now that Damon has been bitten, I'm pretty confident that they will. I don't think the writers would have done it otherwise. It's only when Damon is facing death that Elena will EVER be able to admit she has feelings for him, I always knew that. This is the perfect way to end the season, and one definitive way to kick-start the triangle into Season 3.

^ i totally agree. about her admitting her feelings when he's dying. I feel like thats how it always happens in like all shows LOL. But It's THE PERFECT way for them to get moving.
