There are others I agree with you on, but this is so frustrating to watch. We know pretty much exactly how this will play out, and the whole time, I find myself mentally telling the characters to just communicate! Be direct, stop assuming things. Small misunderstandings are fine, but the long, dragged out ones bother me, especially if a whole plot line is dedicated to said misunderstanding.

Technically misunderstanding (once or twice ok but a plot chronically held together by misunderstanding is awful ...Shakespeare's on thin ice )and lazy husband +hardworking wife (EVERYWHERE IN AMERICAN CARTOONS) but looking at that pic just ...oof irritated me. I remembered I'd seen this not defending gf/bf recently and the fact I have even a couple examples makes me ready to burn it out of existence. Stick up for ya s/o!!!
